The bright side of tonights debacle might be that we stop ****ing about with the team.

We should be able to piss this group. Wins against Besiktas home and away together with a win at home to Porto and a point in France should see us through. We are very capable of doing that.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Look dickhead, I had to explain to you the other week that kenny dalglish was nicknamed "the king". Tonight your waffling summat about djimi, when I can only presume you mean djibril

You may be a nice but dim kinda lad, but when the bullets are flying between TRUE reds, shut the **** up eh

historically, its 10/12 points to go through.

Marseille need one more win and a draw to top the group. Porto, 2 wins and they're through. I really think we're out.

in the old days with a performance like, that some of those players tonight wouldnt have seen the first team for the rest of the season.

Momo should not play unless there is a major injury crisis. At the worst he should play in the Carling Cup. He provides no defensive cover because of his running and thus stifles the other central midfield partner. As he contributes zilch to our attacks he puts pressure on our wide men too.

I agree he is out of form and maybe a little short of confidence. But even in his worst form I expect every Liverpool player to do the simple things - pass the ball 5-10 yards. If you cannot do that then you have no business being present in our team.

I agree he is an invaluable asset when playing against teams like Barca to break down their attacks. But we can play against such teams by playing keeping possession. If with a midfield of Stevie G, Mascher and Alonso and an attack of Torres we cannot do that then I guess I will have to question Rafa's coaching.

If we beat Porto, Besiktas home and away and draw with Marseille at their place we're through. Anything less and it will be a struggle. It can still be done but we will have to play some legendary footie to do it.

We played worse than that when we got gubbed by Southampton at St Mary's a couple of years ago.
