Liverpool vs Marseille - post match reaction

we were absolutely pants tonight.
Something just doesn't seem right at the club.
I was disapoointed that Sissoko never went for 10m to Juve when there was speak of it, because he is a liability. For me he was Marseille's best player - he found his team mates in blue with most of his touches.
Yes the entire team played poorly, but to be honest, we were very lucky to draw against Porto, and even luckier to come away with 3 points vs Wigan (who really deserved to win).
We have been awful for a few weeks, and Rafa needs to do something --- i honestly think he needs to stop rotating until we have some fluiditiy to our game!

Just got in from the match. Terrible perfomance, absolutely abysmal. The sad thing is we got what we deserved. To many players at our club who aren't good enough. Rafa needs to ave a word with himself aswell. Well never progress with this rotation system. He changes for changings sake. Doesn't matter how ****e you play because you know you'll be played again in a few weeks and it doesn't matter how well you play because you'll be dropped in a few games.
We got what we deserved tonight and it'd better serve as a kick up the arse to the players because to a man they were shocking tonight.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Because simply paul, and to be honest, I've had enough 'spats' with you, or put it this way, I don't mind them, they're good...there's too many ****s on here who get uptight about any and every ****ing thing about this club and I'm glad they've got some proper cannonfodder they can have a decent 'We're ****, Rafa's a **** and so ARE YOU' wank about.Originally posted by paulcooper4 View PostExplain that or **** off to another club. Why do you not give a ****, why are you loving it and why did you only bother watching the last 15?
You ****ing know it! You've defended Rafa to the hilt and so have I, we all have disagreements on what's going on, fair enough, but it's pathetic, internet 'wars' and arguments are pathetic and I'm glad I'm above all that, THAT's the reason I'm revelling in it, because there's so many ****s out there, for them this whole EST thing or whatever is the be all and end all. And quite frankly, for me, it's not. So we lost. Big deal. We've ****ing won all the time (in Europe), it was inevitable we were going to get 'stuffed' (it wasn't really a stuffing worthy of a Turkey) at some point. And I knew and I STILL (would you believe it or not) haven't read any of the opinions on the game.
The reason I only watched the last 15 is because I was downstairs entertaining the new housemate, having a laugh with the girls and generally not giving two ****s about a run-of-the-mill European group game. I was more concerned about our new little cat Twinkle trying to attack LaFonda, the old-skool bunny-rabbit.
Sometimes, it ain't the be all and end all (watching a footie match). I dunno, it's the first time in years I can remember not giving a toss, but tonight (with the help of Mister Gin and Colonel JimBo) I really couldn't give less a ****.
Thing is, because I know and you know and many others will ****ing know, this result will drag on all the way to the weekend, it'll be overanalysed to **** and I can't be arsed with it anymore (at least not this week). Enough people will make it out to be the ****ing end of our European campaign, the ****ing league title was lost when we drew to Portsmouth and I'm just not having it. Some people, like Shaggy for instance (can't remember when or why, but I remember that), just don't bother logging on here for a few days after a 'shocking' performance, because there's just too much wankatude going on, and I don't blame 'em.
I'm actually becoming indifferent to the internet support. It's too analytical (by ****wits who have no idea) and it's too negative. I'd rather just watch the match, deal with it on my own terms (for the evening) and have forgotten about the result by the next morning. Life's too short, football (in universal terms) is ****ing zilch and whatever keeps me happy keeps me happy.
This whole, "I'll ****ing kill everyone and myself if the result aint right" attitude is bollocks, I can't be arsed with it (today ehheje)
So there (I have still not read any other posts/threads or anything, literally just logged in again)

Fair enough sean, you don't care about LFC matches, but it's fair to say that most people on here do.
I'm not going to apologise for the fact that LFC means a great deal to me, it always will be a big part of my life. That doesn't mean EST is the be all and end all, it just means LFC means a lot to me.
You seem to think you have more idea than anyone else about the game. Well, that's your opinion, but you are not qualified to go around saying someone else has no idea. All of our opinions are of the same value, that goes for you, me, Marky and everyone else and if you can't respect that then maybe you should log off for a few days.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

we've bought too much squad fillers and it shows. positive for me - momo has shown how **** a player he is and with a bit of luck will never wear the red shirt again. even a blind man can't defend him now. he's one dimensional at best and is of no use to us if we need to attack and score. He can't play in a 2 man central midfield and i'd offload him at xmas.
