Thanjk you.

why are so many intent on seeing us sign Anelka, might as well bring back Heskey and Baros while we're at it
I would assume because they think he is a quality player.
He may or may not be the type of player Rafa wants. But each to their own I guess.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Centre half cover
Left winger
Right winger

But even then we need to be looking at having a neucleus of a team that plays week in week out instead of rotating a number of players every game.
What I want most though is for the players to play some football like Arsenal are playing at the moment. Some of their football is breathtaking. When you saw us starting to lump it to Crouch second half, it doesn't half put what we are doing in context.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.
Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

It's not necessarily all about players for me.
We need to improve our passing and movement as unit, as a team.
Too often we're static and the player in possession has little or no options on, or simply isn't talented enough to execute the pass.
Look at Arsenal's players today, all comfortable in possession with the confidence in each other to pass to a player under pressure in tight areas of the pitch. And they nearly always had multiple pass options.
That's partly down to coaching and tactics, and having talented players.
But we do need better players. A left back who doesn't hoof it, and who can defend better, though to be fair Arbeloa has looked good.
We certainly need quality attacking midfielders. Not going to go into names.
Get rid of Kuyt, Voronin, Sissoko and Riise in particular. Hyypia needs replacing at the end of the season.
I'd agree with that, we have babel who was coveted by many top world teams yet he can't dislodge Kuyt and Crow...wtf?

they gave the ball away more today than they have all season.we were the best team they have played all season and should have won today.we have our problems but wer`e still unbeaten after meeting the league leaders.
he's not the top quality player we need, just another case of settling for second best
If we hadn't got Torres, I could see a genuine case for bringing in someone like Anelka, Torres is the reason I wouldn't sign him, I would prefer to sign someone of the Teves Rooney mould, if I had to buy anohter striker, and genuine world class wingers.

Striker (Keep Crouch, **** the donkeys off)
Winger (dependant on Kewell fitness - Right or Left)
Center Back
Left Back (Someone to cover both CB and LB is fine)
hmm, Id go with that, it was clear in the second half we were lacking a lot of pace. I would get rid of one of Kuyt or Voronin (given Kuyts workrate I'd keep him at the moment)
Agree about the winger, Yossi isnt a winger, Pennant cant seem to find regualr form and Harry is always injured.
"Who's your Daddy now?"

Yes, it shows you aren't a football expert with your unattainable targets
But doesn't Richards only have 2 years left and hasn't resigned? Are you saying that we aren't a big enough club to get a player like him from Citeh? Sad state of affairs then.
I only put Lennon there because he's a young English talent and would fit perfectly in a 4-3-3 with Babel like what we played today.
Diego will leave Bremen, probably in the summer but the other ones are more or less not for sale.
Aguero is available for £22m. He is almost as good as Messi and that says it all how good he is.
I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa makes a move for him. He has tried before but didn't had the money to sign him.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
