Dunno about "type of players" but I think we should go for Jonathan Woodgate.

Boro might be his hometown club, but he can't possibly be enjoying himself there and as a consequence of playing in a ****, struggling side, he's lost his place in the England set-up.

We desperately need another top class centre back and Woodgate is a top class centre-back. He's been injury-free for a while now and, IMO, we should make him a priority in January.

Rafa wanted him on loan but Middlesborough quickly snapped in and got him on loan.

I would seriously consider him, would cost around £9million because they would inflate the price with him being English and would snap at the money with the lack of depth they have in the side.

Whether Agger's fit or not, CB is still one of the priorities for me - along with a top class winger and a better striker than Kuyt & Voronin.

i agree it's a top priority, but when the chips are down and we see what money is available and what players are available it might not be possible
