rafa KNOWS what he is doing mate. you have your opinions, thankfully they arent rafas
I'm with you mate, what I don't understand is that Rotation and got us a CL cup, another final, an FA Cup and our highest ever points. Thats HARD EVIDENCE that rotation works. Yet, people with nothing over than emotional ramblings, claim it is the root of all evil.

Maybe I'm too rational, but I can't see any rational basis for holding the rotation=failure belief. Except of course, in the case where people decide to adopt the opinions of the press rather than draw their own conclusions.

It's getting very tiresome all these condescending threads telling us how we should support our club. No one is perfect and everyone goes about their support in different ways. Also the use of personal abuse to get a point over to another poster is frankly immature. It really does hark back to MrMichaels comment in another thread. If people take a little more thought about their replies instead of all this macho condescending ****e this would actually be a decent forum to post on.

BTW In what games was the crow crap. About 70% of them, the others he's been good at best, never great. Why? Because he's average, simple. You're making sweeping statements about his form dropping off, but relative to the rest of the team he has been as good if not better than the others. The last few games, he has either gotten NO service or has been played out of position. Is that because he is crap or is there another reason? Yeah, he doesn't know where to make the runs

Yes, I know what persisting means. How does that affect my reply.

As to you other two points, they are subjective, I'd say that his goal tally and the type of goals prove that he knows what type of runs to make. No?

I said I've a problem with rafa continuing to play the 2 of them. I never said it couldn't work for a select few games(although I wouldn't play them up top together at all).

With regards to the second point, i was joking, hence the 'smilie' but to answer the question, most of his goals for us havn't involved runs, they've been following up rebounds and one screamer against Toulose.

I see where you are coming from. One of the crows strengths though, is that he plays the kuyt role, but he also follows up to get the tap-ins. He's had more tap-ins than anything else.

I consider getting in position for the tap-ins is part of making good runs. Maybe that is where we are out of sync

I don't disagree that Voronin could do some sort of a job for us. Kuyt even, but for me, they are 3rd and 4th choice and I just couldn't play the 2 of them together in a 442. In some matches it might be effective to play a 451 come 433 with Torres, Kuyt and Voronin.

Face it no one with a modicum of sense would be pushing for Rafa to be sacked. Those who raise doubts and questions, I respect. Those who say we're crap sack rafa, they are the ones we need to treat with contempt. I think the problem is that the two of them tend to get lumped together.

Most people don't differentiate between, for eg, DS and Rashid, that's why the discussion gets so heated.

But in all honesty speedy, how many posters on here want Rafa sacked immediately? Even DJS (I presume that's who you were referring to in your post) and Rashid aren't advocating such a move. But as you say, maybe the problem is that many of us who are being critical are being grouped with the same posters who want Rafa to be sacked asap? If so, then those posters who are grouping us all together need to get a grip.

Although I appreciate the injuries we have in our squad at the moment I'm honestly amazed how anyone would not be critical of our general quality of football these days. We are playing some of the worst footbal I've seen us play for years and that hurts. It's only natural that some of us are getting frustrated and voicing our opinion and I think we should be allowed to do so, if as you mentioned earlier, the posts are constructive and thought out.

Aye, our football at the moment is dire. I expect that to change when Xabi, Agger and Torres return.
Some games after their return, our play should start clicking and our form pick up even another notch.

Whoever started and supported the sack rafa thread are the people I'm trying to separate from you and DJS. I know DJS doesn't want Rafa sacked, he is so negative though that people put him in that camp.

TBH I think that people like coops and I are internally critical, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We prefer to focus on that than our current piss poor results that we KNOW are due to issues that WILL be resolved in the next couple of weeks or so.

TBH I think Coops and I have a 2 month horizion, whereas the majority are taking today and assuming that the future will be a continuation of that.

Yep, our football is crap, but that is because most don't realize that Agger and Xabi are our 2 most important players.

Apologizes if I haven't addressed all your points, but Captain Morgan is more interesting than you

Well I'd definitely agree with you there

After my 28 hr bender starting in the pub on Saturday watching the reds till yesterday evening I would rather change my name to Gary Neville than go near any Captain Morgan this evening.
