Fair enough. I actually agree with what you say in regards to our offer. I am speculating on where I think the negotiations will end up. Lets face it in todays world he will probably get a 2 year extension on same terms.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Yeah, keep coming up with that. It's a good argument for you.

No, the fact that you posted something like that clearly pictures you as being a wind up merchant. I don't provoke people just for the sake of it, whilst you use terms (such as loon) to ridicule someone who doesn't hold the same argument as you.

I've never got a problem with you having a different opinion, just the way you make out people as being 'idiots' for having it. You state things as facts, where it's all perspective and arguments.

The only fact there is, is we're on the same level of points with manure (after heavy rotation and playing sub standard players in some games) and that we're scoring a lot of goals. All the rest is pure hypothesis.

Now, for the sake of this thread, I'm off it.

        Well in fredo.

On the subject of Kewell, obviously i'd offer him another contract worth 40K for two years, but should he make a certain number of appearances in the first year, maybe top up his wage.
        On the Ning Nang Nong

Very similar to what I said. In fact pretty similar to DJS, however if you are not in complete agreement with DJS expect a lot of

1 Year deal at about 40-50k/week with bonus' up to max of 65k/week and an option to extend by 2 years.

If the Medical team agree that he has recovered from his injuries.

I think Harry will look what we will offer first even if he can get a better deal at another club.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Without doubt. He's here to fulfill his boydream. Not to play for Liverpool, but win the title with Liverpool.

                    another legendary DJS thread

Imo we should sign him to a 2 year deal with a downside guarantee of say 35k.

If he stays fit he gets his normal wage, whether he plays sits on the bench or doesn't travel with the squad, if he's injured he'll get his 50% pay. My thinking behind the 2 yr deal is that we can sell him and make some money if we decided to after a year, on any other deal we'd not make money as he'd just be free to go after a year

                        No way!!

He should be on no more than Robbie got, around 15k to 20k whilst playing and half of that when he is not available through injury

I have no idea what his rate would be on the open market but I think it would be more than that. I think we will need to give him a decent salary because with us there will be a chance that even if fit he will not play every game whereas he will at other teams. I imagine that he will want to play as many games as he can at this stage of his career.

He can bugger off so cause he's made a fortune from us and so litlle return so far.

If he loves the club like he says he does he would play for 15-20k he's already made a fortune.

Personally i would have a Pay as you pay deal for him and goal and assist bonuses
