If that does happen could anyone realistically argue?Originally posted by Tom View PostFirstly, it costs to sack someone. Secondly, if they do sack him (which I think they will) it will be at the end of the season if he doesn't bring in a major trophy - prem, champs league.
He'll be judged on results, like any manager, and if we wins nothing then his position will be under review.
Now let me state that I don't want him sacked, but if we fail to go close in any of the the major competitions then questions will rightfully be asked.
Which leads me to my next question (and it’s based on your implication that they want to sack him); why would a major trophy win save him?
If they really want rid why not do it now, in case the club is successful in May? But then that would completely contradict the purpose of the yanks buying LFC, they are here to make money, and the more we win, the more money they make.I hate Polanski

Yep a bit hypocritical I suppose.Originally posted by Dhavlos View PostAs for "shame some won't let it lie" - FLMAO given after qualifying for the last 16 of the CL instead of glorying in our victory in Marseille you preferred to drudge up Reading again.
Then again I saw the match with my own eyes. I saw Rafa deciding those point weren't worth fighting for.
I still think it was a disgrace.
If Rafa is judged on results, then Hicks and Gilette should be judged on what they achieve while they own the club.I hate Polanski

If Rafa signs players in January then some of the internet insiders and the likes of Bascombe will be shown to be complete and utter fools / bull sh!tters. Alot of people may well lose their reputations over this.
What reputations?I hate Polanski

By having an opinion.Originally posted by fredo View PostHighly hypothetical. How could you say something like that.
And by seeing our best player being taken off, who had scored on the night, with us 3-1 down and there were 20 minutes of the match left.
I've based my opinion on evidence I've seen with my own eyes.
I could be wrong, I admit that, but at least I've made an informed opinion.
It was reality check for me re Rafa.I hate Polanski
