another problem i have is that any gob****e that would start bigging up jose mourhinio, a man who is the epitomy of wrong in the game, no matter how many cups he has won, a man who denies our 5th glory was legit, a man who has to be bigger than the players and the club and to big him up whilst we still have one of the best managers in europe at the helm is a ****ing discrace.

For my money anyway, a properly functioning Rafa Benitez side plays a far more attractive brand than any Mourinho team.

When we play well, we play good, attractive football. The problem is, of course, we're not doing it regularly enough and when we are bad, we are ****ing woeful.

We've blown a lot of teams away this season, something we've not been doing for a while.

Mourinho's teams don't blow anyone away. They play ugly football. You might come back and say to me "but they win", which is fair kop, but I don't want him or his style of play.

To be fair, i thought Mourinho's chelsea suffered by comparison, to United and Arsenal, in terms of style of play. They never came close to the other two, but they played decent stuff at times too. Better than what we're playing right now, but that wouldnt be hard.

He had flair players like Robben, SWP and Joe Cole. They werent uniformally dull.

No mate although as I said to Marky, I do believe that he'll be Liverpool's next manager. I know the info came from someone high up in the Club and I have no reason to doubt FFF.

We're just not as good as we all think we are. We're not on the samle level as United,Arsenal or Chelsea. It hurts but we've got to get used to it. Today was a fu**ing disgrace. I was embarrassed watching that ****e. It really was Houllieresque. We will finish at best, 15 points behind United this season.

Do I want Rafa to be replaced? I really don't know. It's all too painful to think about.

The way we're playing now is something of a misnomer and not a true reflection of our style under Rafa IMO. It is clear to me that the weight of pressure of speculation surrounding the manager is having a destabilising affect, and the players seem to have fallen foul to it as well. Have you ever seen us play with such indifference?

As for Chelsea, they may have on occasion played good stuff, but I still think we consistently played better football than them and in this case I agree with Shaggy. Robben spent most of his time on the treatment table, SWP on the bench and how many times did Mourinho criticise Joe Cole for being too attacking and neglecting his defensive duties?

One thing that I most detested about Mourinho's teams were the cynical antics. He had all the ****ers at it, Carvalho with his sneaky pushes and handballs, Essien with his over the ball challenges, Robben with his play acting, Terry's thuggery etc. I have no doubts that Mourinho encouraged that. Rafa has far too much dignity and integrity to try and win like that. that's why I want Rafa to stay and why I want Mourinho nowhere near us, ever.

If I'm really honest, even in the aftermath of Istanbul, I wasn't impressed by that book and it felt like pro Rafa propaganda written by a friend of his. I know everyone raved about it but I didn't really enjoy it.
