1. Who do you think we could realistically get who would improve us or even turn us into champions?
2. Do you think we have sufficient resources to be able to incur the cost of replacing the manager and backing his replacement to turn us into champions?

1) - i think you all know the answer to that one.

2) - that depends on the americans obviously. I think £40m or so spent on players would leave us challenging. I'm not suggesting we either win the title or we've failed.

In terms of replacing the manager, we could keep him for the sake of a few million and continue (IMO) failing to challenge for the title. Depends on what the priorities are.

I dont want rafa sacked he is one of the best managers in the world and right now we are simply playing with low confidence.Our style of football is the only problem I have with him, with the group of players we have we should be playing a lot better football.

Rafa needs to be able to spend 20m+ on a couple of players a season if we are to compete with the rest,I dont agree with people who criticse his transfers he has had to spread the money around the team and all the players he has bought have been good players who will probably make profit.I think his only big mistake was kuyt and every manager makes mistakes.

If he has the money to spend on big players I think he will bring us the league but I think he needs to get the team to play more attacking because sometimes we just look clueless in attack.

I blame the owners. Too much pressure on Rafa, therefore too much pressure on the players.
Not to mention the media's input.
Let him sell the **** players(kuyt, momo, veronin etc) then give him the dough to birng in the players he wants.
You'll get nowhere with the likes of Sissoko, Kuyt, Veronin and Pennant.

Torres has played the vast majority of our games.
Besides it says alot about the quality of player in the team when they can't beat the likes of B'Ham at home without having to rely on one striker.
We need big bucks to bring in some world class players.
Better players means better results, simple.

Gerrard should be ashamed of himself for many of his performances this season and last season, i've watched him closely and he's been a ****ing disgrace when we've needed him to get the players going and perform like a captain. Of course he's got us out of jail many a match but that doesn't hide the fact that he's been completely ****e, off the pace and uninterested in many others.
Quite frankly it's not good enough for a captain of LFC.

2) I think with £40m, plus money from sales, Rafa would have challenging for the league as well. But I'm certain it's around this figure we need to spend to get right up. the squad is not 100% there yet, but I think with that money to spend Rafa would have as good as chance as anyone to win us the league, especially if this ridiculously intense speculation and pressure was lifted
