If Oliver Kay is to be believed the owners will still be responsible for their share of the debt, the £190m, but no doubt we'll end up paying the interest.

If true though it means that, should this **** up, they stand to lose a fortune. IF TRUE.

If they are going to sign Mascher and release the plans for the stadium so as to go on a charm offensive with the fans, what would be the point if they then sacked Rafa a few mnths later? After the reaction to the Klinsmann approach and November I don't see them being that stupid (again), they will have learnt their lesson, also it is Rafa that wants Mascher, so why spend £17m (if they do) buying a player for a guy you intend on sacking and his replacement may not want the player? If they sign Mascher, Rafa will be staying in their mind.

Don't attempt to tell me what I'm thinking mate. They ****ed Rafa over and i hate then for that.

How they finance the club if we end up being successful is for them to decide. Do you honestly think a sugardaddy was going to arrive with pots of cash and spend endlessly? Welcome to the real world.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

From what i can tell 50% of the club is via a loan.

IMO - we're not far off having a PL challenging team lets see if the yanks now support Rafa, he seems to have gotton his defender in this window.

Thier handling of Rafa is way off the mark but then we're not privvy to all the goings on.

Would I prefer them not here and a multi billionaire who doesn';t care about making a profit - too right but that aint going to happen.

I'm still in the aint happy but lets see what happens now.

The yanks are in a damned if the do damned if the don't position at the moment.

There's a lot of complaints re the profits of the CL financing our buys - isn;t that how we want it.

OK the yanks are yet to back Rafa - but then considering whats gone on there're still probably in a honeymoon period or divorce courts? Either waay the cheque books aint comming out but then maybe everyone is seeing what will happen next few months.
Mate, how competitive do you think Our team can become when the club is now going to be responsible for £30m+ yearly interest payments? Transfer funds are likely to be very limited now, esp as I'm sure a lot of money will go towards paying Rafa off in the summer

Some of you are mad and just dont understand that his Wife and Kids are very much settled in the city and he is desperate to stay. He said himself that his daughters speak with a scouse accent. Staying in Liverpool means alot to Rafa and he wont just shift his family that easily

There's no way he'll leave, no ****ing chance. He may get sacked but he won't leave.

He loves this club it's in his blood, you can see that by how passionate he's been of late. If anything it will strenghen his resolve and will bring more belief to the team. Let's just keep supporting the boss, he is LFC he won't go!!

IF all true they have had to put in £55m themselves (between cash and assurances) so they will not be willing ot let LFC fail.

If Moores hadn't considered their bid he could potentially have been sued by the shareholders for not considering the higher offer. If he had accepted the DIC offer of £500 less per share he could have found himself having to pay a lot of cash back.

DIC had to sit tight then and wait for an answer but the chose to walk away. I have no doubt that, if their interest this time was real, they'll come back if and when the time is right.

The players they've already bought for us, are now being paid for by the club loans they've taken out. they've not spent 1 pence on this ****ing club and you apologist ****ers are already saying wait and see. It's not half, they've split the loan between, us and......................erm.............Us. Kop Football loans will be paid for by the club. they've split the amounts, but Kop Football will be paid dividend to pay for their half of the proposed loans.

I'm shocked at the easing of attitudes I've seen over the last day or so. Waiting and seeing is what the scum did and they can afford their loans and players, we'll have the same size loan as them when the 300 million stadium is being paid for and we earn a **** load less. they want the stadium completed with a minimal expense to be able to sell at a premium price. That much now seems clear. as long as we're in the division then prem money covers their loans.

Does that not shock you a little?

If we're the best team in the land we'll be worth a billion, if we're a mid tabled team waiting for the right investor to match our history then we'll be worth 700ish?

Either way, not a bad way to earn 350million for a £0 investment, is it?

Surely the yanks wouldn't be able to keep the club ticking over and would have to sell up, especially if we were out of the CL for a couple of years in a row?
