I think it's right though, common sense tells you that they're going to deny the rumours in the press and I'm sure DIC would require that G&H play down speculation.

He has a PR company working for him, he shouldn't be making these mistakes. They still shouldn't have done it at all never mind admit it. You think admitting it is the big problem, I think actually lining up Klinsman up as Rafa's replacement is the big problem on 2 fronts - thinking of getting rid of him like that and then planning on replacing him with someone with no track record.

Replacing him because he mouthed off in a PC or failed to qualify for the last 16 of the CL would have been harsh but some would have agreed with them because we should have stuffed that CL group.

Replacing him with the new Bayern manager would maybe have been a disaster.

Source is the partner of a former player who I work with. She's never told me any insider info, she doesn't even like football, she's into golf.
Anyway, we were chatting on a night shift and she asked why I was "fed up" so I told her I was pre-occupied with LFC's plight, we got talking and she told me.
I've had loads of free tickets to matches including the CC final against the Chavs which she dishes out amongst several LFC fans at work.
I've had loads of merchendise too which has been raffled or auctioned for charidy.
I've also met the player in question at nights out and on the golf course.
So, I have no doubt about the source's validity.I don't know where he got this info from, like I say, it hasn't happened before.

Marcotti on R5Live tonight suggested both Gillette and especially Hicks are keen to sell, and the latter has been telling that to anyone who'll listen, although perhaps they don't necessarily want to sell to DIC (I dont understand why not, or may be I misunderstood what that idiot Marcotti was saying).

A work colleague had some interesting info for me last night.

They claim that the reason the stadium plans have been revised is not JUST because H&G can't afford the new stadium and want to put money into the team, but, because H&G want out and DIC has stipulated that H&G have to sort the stadium design out first, to a budget determined by DIC, so that when DIC take over, they are not the ones to come out and say we're not building that space ship stadium H&G wanted. They did say a deal had been agreed in principle though.

Some of you will know the source of this info. Take it with as much scepticism as you like. I'm happy to take the flack if you want to have a pop

I think that you need to look at Hicks CV, not that impressive eh. He totally destroy everything that the clubs stand for when he has owned them a few years.

There isn't one single club that he has bothered about the fans even a little bit. Money is his 1-100 priority. If you want an owner that will kick the manager when he feels like doing it, then Hicks is your man. Hicks kicks managers, coaches and general managers right left and centre. If a manager dare to speak up against him then he is off.

We will be the new Newcastle if Hicks don't sell up, and is the best case scenario.
