Also I'm acutely awhere of the anti-semetic and human rights issues associated with those associated with DIC. Do we just forget those issues because DIC may be better that the Yanks?

sorry, but this apathy from or supporters is a disgrace.
So calling me a disgrace makes you what then? I'm as gutted as the next supporter that Moores decided to sell the club to foreign investors, i was merely voicing my opinion that Hicks will not be swayed by people holding placards and singing songs etc. I NEVER said NOT to campaign just that it would have little affect IMO, why don't you read all of the post and try to understand what somebody is saying rather than wading in?

If it is realism, why are you still "doing things" then?

As for politics, there are not many clean fellas out there, some are worse than others, I will grant you that. Me, I have no problem with DIC as owners of LFC.

i wasnt aiming the disgrace comment at you solely, but at a general attitude found in a small group of fans the last few days after hicks stadium refinance announcement.your lack of positive ideas is disapointing, but not disgraceful.im sure u will come up with some soon tho

Hence why i said look at all my posts, i've not changed my stance on Hicks since the stadium announcement. However i'm realistic enough to know certain things. For starters Hicks gives not one **** what the average fan thinks as long as long as the revenue streams aren't overly affected he will do what the **** he wants IMO.

Secondly Hicks is well connected, as well connected as an American can be and as has been said only a massive OTT bid will get him out of the club at this time. Also those who think Gillett is mister nice guy are deluded IMO, he's from the same mould as Hicks, they both know they can screw big bucks out of our club.

My regret is that we had an owner in Moores and a CEO in Parry that were either so greedy or so inept(or both) that they chose these two over DIC. I would suggest we're in for a long and bumpy ride!

There is a difference between wanting the americans out, which I do, and wanting DIC in because it seems the only alternative, which I don't.

                      Why should we?

Funny that people didn't want the Man City Chairman when he was interested in us because of his issues but we are happy to ignore when DIC are mentioned. I wonder how they will get round paying Yossi's wages.

youve made yr point about it not being easy, we all know that.but **** it,this is our lfc,let make his oil guzzling ride bumpy, even if it doesnt work ultimately, our effort is the least we owe to the club that provides us so much joy for us and our families.

i for one wont be buying any merchandise from the club - i wouldnt be buying anything at the ground - and ill lend my voice to any noise thats directed at those ****ers.

this may not ultimately work,or it just might....

It kinda depends on what DIC will bring to our club, if they got in instead! I really want the americans out, but I am also skeptic about the arabs taking over. What guarantees do we have that they won't plaster us with debt as well, or take profit the company generates. It is quite normal practice with companies, that the owners take part of the profit - hence why they invest... As long as the best "evidence" about DIC being different, is links to wiki etc., I don't give a rats ass - no credibility whatsoever!!

They might be different, I don't know - but I surely hope so if they manage to take over our club. Personally I would, as stated earlier, prefer some sort of consortium of LFC-fans, your morgan, moores etc. I just don't know if any exist with the leverage to do so these days??

The Sheikh is only doing what he must do to be able to build up Dubai. He is doing what the Western World have done to Africa and the poor Asian countries the last centuries.

It's the only way you can build up a country on.

It's not nice and and I don't think it's right but he don't have any other option. Not even he can afford to build up Dubai and pay everyone good wages.

He may change it in the future when he can afford to do it just like the Western World changed after they finished with the basic building up process of their countries.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

DIC or Dubai in general are NOT anti-Semitic. It is impossible for any Arab to be anti-Semitic as Arabs themselves are Semitic - a fact that is always overlooked.

The State of Dubai, along with many other Islamic states, does not recognise the State of Israel on a political level. This is not the same as being anti-Jew or anti-Semitic.
