Thats what i mean by always the same. Same **** different day Harry. Cant say im surprised he's gone back again. No doubt he'l turn up in May claiming he's fit and demanding a new contract and place in the team
Everything he has done so far on and off the pitch when it comes down to training and games has been backed by Rafa 100%.

It was Rafa's idea that he should play with Australia for example last summer before our pre-season games in Asia.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

      Well said dww.

People on here are always very harsh on him. We're all frustrated that we never got the best out of a once exceptionally talented player. If anything we should have sympathy for the lad whose potentially brilliant career was destroyed by injury. Wherever he ends up when his time a LFC comes to an end I wish him well.

I know Harry kewell gets properly down about his injuries and it really get to him. NOBODY is more gutted than him about how injuries have blighted his career.

I feel sorry for the bloke.

I know some say he’s coasted along and not really tried, but to be honest I’ve not really seen it like that.

He’s certainly not coasted as much as Gerrard has at times. Yes he’s pulled out of some tackles but Riise’s been doing that for years and no-one calls him a ****house.

Unlucky Harry, and all the best in the future.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

its ridiclulous i know of a couple of prem players that are in it for the money and dont give a **** abot playing its just money, money. Kewell properly gets down about all his injuries he loves playing football and his misses gets it in the ear when he is not playing!! .......not literally

I really had high hopes from him for this season.

I find it quite strange that he gets slated. No one can do anything about injuries.I have always thought he had a real good attitude.

To be fair, '****house' is one of the milder nicknames I have for Riise.

I've got to say, i won't be sorry to see him go. Not because his attitude or work ethic is a problem, mainly because it's been clear for at least 2 years that he was never going to get back to his best and the huge wages that he's on could be put to much better use.

I'll wish him nothing but the best for the rest of his career though.....unless he's playing against us that is.

I disagree. Having your career cut short because of an injury is unlucky, but consistently getting injured and trying to force your body back before it's fully healed is something he has to be responsible for. Injuries happen, it's part of the game, but at some point an athlete should know his bodies limits well enough to allow himself to heal properly. Apparently Harry doesn't and pushes himself too hard to get back into the team which just perpetuates the cycle.

God love him he tries, but he doesn't belong here.
when things go wrong, don't walk away.
                          that'll only make it harder.

If Kewell had a chance of playing for us he would stay. He obviosly doesn't at present so he may as well go to Australia. Problem get more out of that than he would twiddling his thumbs in the reseves.

I'm sure if Rafa tells him to stay he would be more than happy with that.
                            Forwards.......

True. We gave him a contract and I can't say he didn't try. Bit like Diao, it hurts that he cost so much and has given so little, but it's hard to blame directly.
