although the amount of wages cant, the basic employment and contractual lawa still apply. I dont necessarilly disagree with the posts and comments that he should have given something back, but I think the comparison with Redondo is different. He had just joined Milan, not even debuted for them in Serie A when his knee went, he was 32 odd and suffered a serious injury which ended his career, he was at the tail end of his career. Harry has suffered a series of niggling and odd injuries at the prime of his career and am sure he knew/knows that if he could get fit he would have a few more years at the top. Whilst a noble gestrue by Redondo their situations arent directly comparable

Mate, I like Harry and have always defended him in the past. Robbie accepted without hesitation to come back here on reduced wages ... he didn't think twice, it was the love of the club for him. It's not as if he's short of money.Originally posted by Skillz View PostRedondo is not a good professional. He is the exemption to the rule.
Player and club decide on a contract, it is a risk for both parties but both know their obligations. There are no winners here, but for some it seems they feel better if Harry orchestrated and we were ripped off.
We were ripped off, but it wasn't Harry's fault. it's football.

Harry Kewell a "true fan" and "excellent pro" bollox, after the money and backing this club has given him to turn around and **** LFC off shows me everything i need to know about the cunt.
What did we offer him?
Are people suggesting he should play for nothing? If not, how much should we pay him per week?
Remember most supporters want him to leave, yesterday like. We offered him a contract, which we have zero detail of, and now everyone is pissed off he didn't sign it.
What the **** is going on
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Personally I think both LFC and Harry know he is a spent force. If another club are willing to pay more, it is a win-win situation for us and Harry. I doubt we offered him much at all, nor we should BTW, but if he has been offered a good deal elsewhere it's bye bye Harry.
We all expected him to go, most wanted him to go years ago. What's the problem

Never wanted him to go like others here. I always wanted to see the real Harry. I just mean that if Rafa offered him a new deal, albeit on reduced wages, he should have too it as another show of great faith in him ...Originally posted by Skillz View PostPersonally I think both LFC and Harry know he is a spent force. What was he offered?Originally posted by REDrascal View PostWell that's done it for me, i liked Kewell, even had modicum of sympathy for him, injuries & all. But to knock back a reduced wage offer to be part of this wonderful clubs squad, what an utter ****. **** off, your a disgrace man.
