See my edit. TBH I knew something was wrong. Marky isn't capable of such balanced writing.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

The point is he's still happy to pick up wages whilst not playing at least Redondo had the decency to admit that as he was injured he felt it was wrong morally to be paid for not actually playing.

That my friend is why I respect a player like Redondo far higher than Kewell.
They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

Well good on Redondo, he deserves credit for it. I suspect we had insurance for Harry anyway, maybe not who knows. We got a raw deal from Harry, we all know that. He got a raw deal from the 'Injury gods'. **** happens and criticising Harry for collecting his wage is a bull**** comment IMO.

He should have taken a reduced wage,he`s one of our highest earners while Rafa has been haggling with clubs over a few million.

If you want an example of a honest and decent pro who was in a similar position then look further than Fernando Redondo, when he left Real Madrid to join Milan he got injured and was out for over 2 years. He told Milan he could not accept any wages whilst he was out injured.

If only Kewell had the same kind of ethics and principles.

                            Well what was the deal?

I do not want to argue this as we do not know any facts. What I will say is that I think if harry moves to Italy, Spain, France etc he is more likely to resurrect his career than he is here.

Personally, I think he will struggle to stay fit for long enough to make too much of an impact anywhere. It just hasn't worked out for Harry, happens to lots of talented players but with Harry it coincided with his big signing.

fair enough skliz but on the same note you cant go portraying him as a wonderful proffesional for doing exactly what most other crocked pros would do, i.e taking the money.

Apparently Rafa offered him a new deal on reduced wages ... and he rejected it.
