at least he isn't spineless like yourself. Having a pop at people with no facts.....then not even responding to that and having another go at him and posters.

that was 4-5 years ago. Injuries have robbed him and us.

We know he has been "fit" for a while, but for whatever reason Rafa doesn't play him. Is that his fault too?

I was not creaming when we signed him I was cringeing. Kewell for me has never been a fantastic player regardless of the endless sequence of injuries he has endured. We payed well over the market value for a squad player.

Oh how I still laugh at the "Edge of the seat" player we signed

.............sits and waits patiently for the Aussies on the forum to surround and attack me like 10 angry Sheila's

Not going to attack u mate, we are all aware of how u feel. AT the time of buying him, he was seen by clubs (the clubs that were indeed chasing him, such as the Scum, etc.) as world class. Nobody is saying that he is world class now at all. But to say that paying 5 million pounds for somebody that numerous big clubs were chasing was well over the market value is just ridiculous and close-minded...

Couldnt disagree with you more - you sound pretty stupid. The australian based posters were merely setting you straight that the bloke has hardly played for australia.

Kewell was the most excited ive been about a player signing for LFC until torres. He wasnt just a decent player he was the best left winger i could think of along with ryan giggs.

To me and most others with any sense - it is quite clear that the poor blokes career has been completely wrecked by injuries and nothing more. How the **** can you truly think a bloke would purposefully sabotage his career at one of the best clubs in world football, injuring himself in not one, but 2 champions league finals??? are you insane? do you think he planned that because he couldnt be arsed?

Im sorry but i just dont believe this is the case with kewell and i think you are dressing up your obvious dissapointment as mindless, overly harsh criticism.

Good look to Kewell, Ill always be dissapointed with the way its worked out for him and us but there probably isnt a spot for him past this season.

At the time we signed him - name a better left winger outside of ryan giggs. I thought he was **** hot personally.

Nice little Partridge reference there deserves acknowledgement.
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

Iv no doubt he has suffered from injuries. But i totally disagree with people who defend him by saying what a great pro he is. Yeah right. He's certainly not

Right now he should be earning his wages by doing his utmost to get back into the first team. Not jetting off across the world again.

My last straw came with this guy when we conceded a late goal and lost at upton park and this prat walked off down the tunnel laughing his head off. Because it was clearly funny wasnt it. Im glad he could see the funny side of it. Oh and btw he was completely garbage for the 60 minutes that he did play that day. Nothing new there tho

                            ....

well either way, we need a proper left sided midfielder now (RYan B is too versatlie to be just that) and Rafa letting HK go must be a sign that he has someone in mind or has specifically targetted that area, which must be good news.
Always got the impression that he was a big game player who never performed in the big games. Nice lad, got a lot of stick, but personally, am happy to get someone new in. fingers crossed.
LFC - the footballing Phoenix. Watch us rise.

Agree. Im not familiar with the incidents that -v- is talking about but whatever - hes probably not with us after this season so it would be nice to think we could get someone in that excited me as much as kewells signing did at the time....

Kewell's reputation was based upon a 12 month spell at Leeds that he never replicated.

I always thought he was over rated and one of the very few soft Aussi sportsmen. He nearly always pulled out of tackles and was far too easy to bully out of the game.

                                Compare that against Torres
