Its strange how you keep posting if it bugs you so much.Originally posted by Marsh View Postits strange how it doesnt matter what forum this is in but other things get moved pretty quickly.
I wonder also how much benifit this afc gets from calling itself liverpool?
It calls itself Liverpool because its in Liverpool for Liverpool fans by Liverpool fans. Not really hard to grasp that one. Although how much does South Liverpool benfit from being called South Liverpool? Should they not be allowed to have that name either?
If AFC Liverpool isnt for you mate, then fine. Im not here to get you to **** LFC off and im not here pretending to replace LFC. Its simply for Liverpool fans who can not get to Anfield, to enjoy Live football supporting a team run by them for them. If they want to go and watch Marine then fine, no problem at all, atleast they are watching Live footy. How many people dont want to watch Marine though? Loads Id say and loads of them are Liverpool fans so we want to provide cheap live footy for them. Is that a crime?Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

Exactly
As I said, we'll look at ways to deal with AFC Liverpool stuff on the site in future. I've vaguely considered suggesting we have an AFC Liverpool section, or an opt in opt out one like the old KT discussion forum we had used to be, or some creative use of the new groups system, or something else, or nothing at all, I really dunno and haven't even thought about it properly, but I don't see that the total of 4 threads we've had so far about AFC since the day Alun first mentioned the idea are really doing any harm left in the lfc section.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

We actually contacted Liverpool Council as well. They said they'd send something out but I've not received anything and deadlines were looming. Simple as. Can't blame us if Liverpool Council don't respond can you.Originally posted by Dessy View PostYou miss my point. The post I referred to suggests that you will be one of 2 teams playing from Liverpool.
Why then have you approaced KMBC to use facilities in Knowsley for the Reserve, Youth and Ladies teams set up?

I read above that they'd want to get promoted in 2008/09. But further on; what are the aspirations?
Isn't it a paradox that if the team is successful and gets promoted, the cost of going to see the matches will increase?
Not really, prices will go up but even if they went up by a pound every time there was a promotion it'd be £15 for a prem ticket. because the club isnt run to make a profit for someone then all the money made goes straight into the club which enables prices to be kept down.
As for aspirations, the idea is to be the best Non-League team in Merseyside.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

The long term aspiration is to do as well as we possibly can within the parameters of offering quality, affordable football.Originally posted by Razor70 View PostMay I ask; what are the long term plans for AFC Liverpool?
