Did nothing wrong, rarely touched the ball if at all as I remember. Not even worth discussing tbh

isn't rarely touching the ball, if at all, something wrong in itself?

No I don't think so. He held his position well, played the simple pass when he had it, but just didn't get it that much from what I remember

I can't see Leto ever playing for us again.

But yeah I'd be surprised if he plays again for us. The first issue is if he gets past the passport issue, and secondly if Rafa still rates him/has better options at LM.

I did however read somewhere that he is performing well in Greece/Turkey wherever he is so you never know.
Exactly Reggie. I wasn't a great fan of Leto, but I remember every player being rubbish that night. I truly fail to see how he can be derided so much for that one game. He was not worse than many other players that night and et gets so much stick.

He really was sensational in the reserves at times, he clearly has potential. WHether he lives up to it is another thing. If he does well on loan he will defenitely be back.

I don't like to slate any Liverpool player but this lad is not good enough for Liverpool, at least not yet anyway. I think he should be loaned out to get some regular football with a bottom half team or even a championship team. He may come good then.

I could not believe Lucas came on ahead of Mascherano. And the first thing he does, gives away a silly free kick. In my opinion he gives far too many stupid free kicks away which add pressure on our defense.

Lucas has only played one good game for us so far and that was against Newcastle, I do hope he can repeat that performance but I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

Having said that he was not to blame for last nights result. I taught the team as a whole were poor. We should have been able to beat a second string Everton team but we made it hard for ourselves by our negative style of play.

We are doing our best to hand the title to United at the minute. The whole moral of the team needs to be lifted. I still think we can do it, lets face it we are level on points with United and at worse will be three points behind them if they win their game in hand. We have been in far worse positions than this and yet we have been more optimistic.

Lets get behind the team and drive them home!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucas Leiva is not the reason we dropped points last night.

But the very act of bringing him instead of Ryan Babel symbolises the reason we will never, ever win the title under Rafael Benitez.

Yup, cos the best managers don't try to protect a lead by bringing on a player who can retain the ball when they're leading with 10 minutes left, changing formations to leave one up front and packing the midfield. Sarcasm?? Me??

Thats right, it was Lucas' fault that Benni gave away a foul at the end.

Was it actually a foul though? I remember thinking that he won the ball.

I thought that but I think the replay showed he'd just got the man.

I think that one was a foul, the one before it not so much.

Bearing in mind both happened in the RB position, one might ask where Carragher was, as well as blaming Benayoun.

Lucas had nothing to do with us losing points. Other contributed to that.
That said, I woudl have had Mascher on instead when trying to protect a lead against a raging pack of yard dogs.

He was probably covering for Skrtel who was all at sea.
