A header in,
A volley in,

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Alberto Aquilani!

Considering he's been competing with Gattuso, Pirlo, De Rossi and Ambrosini for the senior side thats not bad. The national coaches tend to want experience and age in their midfield.Originally posted by justinius23 View Postdoes 11 appearances (at 25) count as "establishing yourself in the senior side?"
My Roma supporting cousins are gutted he is leaving.

I was wondering about this. Given his injury record I wonder if we have some sort of injury related payments in place like rather than a straight £20m upfront we pay say £10m now and the rest based on appearances (not your standard affair but an injury related one) and achievements.
I think perhaps that we would have some security on this front. I like this gamble as I think injury free he might be worth twice what we are paying, just remains to be seen if it gets paid off.
