The national strategist, you just delinking of Real Madrid, where he directed a season, signed by the 'Reds' this Friday morning. DT continues his career in Europe, replacing Rafael Benítez qu became Internazionale technician.
The severance pay him little lasted to Manuel Pellegrini. The Chilean technician will continue his career in Europe and will do so in another large team and one of the most winning stories of England: Liverpool is the new home of the coach. Thus DT meets his desire that said some time in the Premier League.
As coach could determine Prensafútbol signed this Friday morning with the Reds, taking the site up to a few weeks ago Rafael Benítez, who left England to become the successor of José Mourinho at Internazionale. In this way, a unique technical between Real Madrid, Liverpool and inter enrroque is set.
On Thursday, representative Pellegrini, Marco Piccioli, had explained that "we are evaluating the operation and soon there will be a further meeting to better define the final details of the contract". That meeting took place this morning, with the signing of the link between the former box 'merengue' DT and the champion of Champions League year 2005
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
You never know, football is football. It could be in five years' time, ten years' time, two years' time. We have two years of a contract here, we are really pleased here, the people are very nice, the fans are very similar to Liverpool fans, with passion, so everything is going well."
But Liverpool is home? "Yeah-it's the only house we have. Liverpool is my home and I will come back."
Yes, I feel much more comfortable with the possibility Pellegrini could be our manager. I'm quite uneasy with Hodgeson, even though I think he's a good manager the jury is just out on him far too much. Pellegrini is a proven quantity in the CL and has shown that he can work with teams, then rebuild them. Very impressed how he kicked out Riquelme after he became a primadona even though the team was built around him. Then built a highly successful new team with only around a season transition. Underperforming or unrecognised players like Senna, Cazorla, Jose Mari, Forlan, Javi Venta, Rossi etc really became very good players under him.
I also feel that his reign at Madrid could be like a trail period at a big club where he could learn from his mistakes and he can be sure not to make those mistakes with us.
Won't get too excited though, until more reputable sources start covering the story.
It seems to link to Shaggy's post earlier would like to think its true and will be sorted sooner rather than later. As for a trial period at a big club madrids highest ever la liga points haul is a good trial we will have to see if anything comes of it-
