The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A few weeks maybe but if he's any good he'll be gone in a few months IMO.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

we would have to pay compo for him as he has come through the rangers youth set up.

If we still had Parry in charge that wouldn`t be problem, but Wilson would end up somewhere else

Yes, but it would be very small compared to any transfer fee - probably less than £500k.

I wonder how much this story is just that the media jumped the gun in proclaiming that we signed him (obviously including all that talk of loaning him back to Rangers etc). Perhaps what we are seeing is the normal transfer negotiations but slightly more in the open as Rangers want to make a point about the price they want for their young players and that there is so little transfer movement going on pre-World Cup.

"Wilson stays at Rangers" is not a story.

However, "Wilson signs for Liverpool" is a story. "Wilson deal delayed" is also a story.

I'm not saying it the reports are definitely not true but it is definitely a way to fill space.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Spurs are the only team I've seen named. Although several reports have claimed 'a string of clubs are after his signature'.

Wonder what'll happen to deals like this one. I'd say Jovanovic is all wrapped up bar the shouting, but in cases like this....when we're bidding for a player identified by Rafa....surely it'll be kyboshed by the board? After all this is a board who didn't trust Rafa, who weren't prepared to back him...so why would they pursue the signing of Wilson, for example? Rafa will have had a plan for the summer. Now it's all up in smoke and we're rudderless...at a time when we need to be making good signings.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It's an interesting question, not just for player we were looking bring in but also player that were on their way out. Are all deals going to be postponed until we have a new man in charge?

Aye for £2.50 and a packet of crisps if our Chairman has anything to do with it.

King Kenny might make the call personally. He's have it wrapped up in 2 min flat
