This lad was a player that Kenny wanted.I think i already mentioned it in this thread and also Hodgson was after him too.Got it from someone who plays with the lad.
However he'll be on BIG wages and is obviously older. I'd probably steer clear of Bridge to be honest.
Insua has the scope to progress into a much better player than Bridge. He's only 21. Selling him means we have to buy two left backs, which is bit of a nightmare.
Did Aurelio ever sign for Marseille? We should re-sign him. Another quality free.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He's got more experience than Insua yes and in that sense may be a better player at this stage. Still, Insua has a lot of potential, whereas Bridge is nearing the end of his career.
Why not go for Ashley cole while we are at it LOL. Left back sorted then. Seriously though i wouldn't know where to start in looking for a new left back. Insua has to be replaced though as he was found wanting in a lot of games last season.

Another one I always thought was a tad bit overrated. A bit of a headless chicken if you ask me, his defending has always been 'suspect'. Very good left backs, the ones who excel at attacking as well as defending are a very rare breed if you ask me. I find it surprising that some people think that there's a lot of them out there, which is a fallacy, IMO.
We've always struggled to get consistency on our flanks, so it would be a wise move not to get rid of Insua.

Agree mate it is very hard to think of a all round quality left back that can both defend and attack off the top of my head. I just hope we do have some quality lined up to replace Insua.
Insua is good and should really be the backup left back.
