Thanjk you.

Roy actually had 2 and a half good seasons, everyone seems to have forgotten how he kept them up. So he saved their PL status, then he got them into Europe and the following season he led them to mid table whilst getting them into a major european final beating some decent teams along the way or with a very small squad. He's also help turn Zamora from a player with ability to a quality player that would literally play on one leg for him. Its all very very impressive imo.
I'd prefer Kenny because the thought make the hairs on your neck stand up. I wanted Kenny over GH and Rafa. I'd still want Kenny if we had the choice of any manager in the world.
Roy is a very acceptable second choice to Kenny.
Hodgsons away record is pretty crap though
Hasnt he won only something like 4 away games in the last 2 seasons??
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
****ing hell lads, Kenny is a legend and all that, but it would be a MASSIVE gamble to make him the gaffer. Can't believe so many would accept it. How long has he been out of football management again ?!
What we need right now is stability. Hodgson isn't the best manager in the world. But he's a solid choice. Not for ever, just for a year or two until we can get new owners.
I'd feel 'safe' if not excited seeing Hodgson and Sammy Lee on the dugout next year, with Kenny in the stands.

yes but regardless how he has done it, he has performed miracles at Craven Cottage.
Maybe thats how he has done so well by prioritising home games? whatever the reason he has done superb with Fulham......its also worth remembering just like rafa in 2005 when we finished fifth, Fulham dropped players for the league towards end of season.

who wants to feel safe though? **** that!!!! give me the tingle down the back of my neck when king kenny comes out of the tunnel for the first time
becuase he has been managing clubs for the last 10 years, won the uefa last year and is a very stable and safe choice.
As many of said on here if Kenny comes in and ****s up we will still love him as he tried the best.......IF woy comes in and ****s up some would focus there anger on Woy and not the owners.
Looking it from an outside point of view you can see why woy is the right option in many ways..........although I want Kenny
Dont believe the hype.

It would be a massive gamble. But do you believe that Kenny would take the job on if he didn't think he'd be a better option than Hodgson?
I'm not a total Anti-Woy man meself, and also have reservations about Kenny's managerial quality AFTER being away for so long
But, I trust him implicitly, and if Kenny Dalglish, Anfields favourite son, honestly believes he's up to it, then who am I to argue
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Word is out now that the King wants to manage. If Woy or whoever comes and does not have a good start, the pressure is going to be enormous on him. All liverpool fans will know that the king wanted the job. Rafa was given a tremendous amount of time in the beginning to learn the PL due to his CV and the promise. Also the king did not publicly court the job as he had done now.
Woy does not have as impressive as a CV and nor is he as promising as a manager. If he loosed the first few games, some of our stars get linked to other clubs in the press and they don't confirm their intention to stay, the pressure may be too much. Couple of losses and half the crowd will be chanting Dalglish and singing Rafa songs.

If the king wants the job, let us give it to him.
If its not a world class manager..and kenny does not get the job then they are f**ked from the start. That could be from either the pro kenny media who want him in charge or the pressure from the fans if the not so world class manager does not live up to expectation. Kenny throwing his hat into the pot may just cause more problems for the owners and management team.
My feeling is that Hodgson would be safe in the sense that he would probably be able to manage the sale of big name players and buy in cheapish experienced replacements and still be a decent bet for 5th to 7th. If we want to challenge for 4th then I think he is still a gamble. It's also not clear if he would have draw enough to have any influence on Gerrard or Torres staying or any other biggish names coming in.
On the other hand I think that Kenny would be a gamble in all situations but would be minded to and have experience of challenging for honours. He would also make it more likely in my opinion that Gerrard and Torres might stay for another season.

I guess if we want to hang on to Gerrard and Torres, we should go with Kenny and hope the two Parasites have left the club by then end of next season, if we then have new owners and a decent transfer budget we might be able to persuade them to stay more long term.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
