why i voted for Hodgson(not that i'd mind Kenny having a more hands on role at the club):
i feel that with Dalglish being appointed the expectations would once again rise too high for where the club is atm, similar to what happened at Newcastle with Keegan or even Shearer. Dalglish has a fantastic managerial recorod behind him, but the guy hasn't managed in 10 years, and football has changed since then, and who's to say he has the insight to who the talented players around the globe, with a price tag we can afford to pay, are? It's easy to keep track on the bigger players in the game, but he should have know how to get good players with a small budget. Now if Kenny proves he can train and manage players like it's done in 2010 and has a list of players who can improve our team even considering our tight budget then i'm all for his appointment. But i think Hodgson might be better suited for that role, and we could do with a bit of a diplomatic touch now and then, we've been through a rollercoaster ride in the last few years and it's my opinion we need to step back a bit, recflect on where we are, what we plan to achieve, and how to achieve that. Do we plan on competing with the likes of Man City, Chelsea, and Real in the transfer market or are we going to blood young talent and burn into them what it means to play for LFC. What i miss right now is a sense of direction at the club but i guess with Cancer&Aids at the helm that's to be expected
