I think you meant to put "In my OPINION" at the beginning of your sentance. Unless you have inside contacts at arsenal which I doubt very much.

Actually 1997/98 is his first full season. You can hardly count the season before as he wasn't in charge the whole season.

why not include cisse 14m or alonso 10m in that little list
you cannot simply pick out any 4 players and say see theyre better than us.

money doesnt grow on trees and ive been saying this for years but the fact is every time the like of the mancs play just 1 home game one million quid extra goes into their coffers

Well in my opinion if Rafa had won the double in his first full season, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Our fans are hungry for the league, it's our bread and butter.

At the end of the day we have a lot to be thankful for. Keep faith, only maybe arsenal have a better manager IMO
Would you rather have a succesful manager or a better manager?

All the top 4 clubs have what it takes to be a manager, whether we like them or not, they are top, top managers with a high success rate.

There is no reason whatsoever to go and change our manager, indeed for the next 20 years even.

Which would you choose? League position reflects a team's ability, you won't get anyone sensibly arguing with that.

oh and if you do want to talk about history then
pass and move was the foundation of this club for a long long time
yet i have failed to see it in action for quite a while

you could also point to the lack of a scouser on the backroom staff for god knows how long..

these are only nitpickings, after yesterday the finger of blame is doing the rounds, and its pretty much landing on everything and anything

If - according to your OPINION - wenger bought time by winning the double, then by your very own logic (such as it is) Rafa should be given an equal amount of time to build at liverpool.

The european cup is generally counted as being more important than the championship.

yes money helps. But all we expect is the players to be let off the lease and allowed to attack. money doesn't come into that. Luton play attacking football and have bugger all money.

                                Its an excuse.
