Transfers - Who is deciding who comes, who stays and who leaves?

On a vaguely related note; does anyone know what Alex Miller is up to these days? He was reported as having some interesting things to say about our scouting system at some point last season.

I suspect that there is a feeling within the club that they gave Rafa too much power/control, and at present they are trying to keep Roy on a tighter leash. Personally I'd prefer to have the manager in charge of football matters, but with the current owners we're far from an ideal world. Things may be different when we get new owners which hopefully will be sooner rather than later!

So now some people are finally acknowledging that Purslow may now be making footballing decisions in addition to his duties as CEO

This to me is totally and utterly appalling

Purslow has no qualifications to do this and more over it completely undermines Hodgson on so many levels

Fine if we are selling the players due to financial problems then so be it, I can understand that despite not being happy with it

IF Purslow is making transfer decisions ala a technical director that is completely ****ing bogus and just goes to show he is now treating the club as his own personal pfeifdom

IF Purslow is carrying out a preplanned tactic based on the suggestions of a former manager why did he sack that manager? In addition why when he appointed a new manager didnt he tear up that plan and discuss another one with the new manager

This only further goes to show what a shambles our club is
