A lad called Joseph Rafferty was on the bench tonight - who's he? Never heard of him."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Sounds like young Silva did well but no mention of Raheem Sterling . Anyone know how he's getting on then ?
Silva service delivers stylish six of the best for Liverpool FC academy
Nov 9 2010 Liverpool Daily Post
A SUPERB 6-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers saw Liverpool under-18s bounce back in fine style on Saturday.
Rodolfo Borrell’s side hadn’t played for three weeks due to an in-service weekend in the FA Premier Academy League and the postponement of their clash with Manchester United.
And on the back of disappointing defeats to Blackburn and West Bromwich Albion they were keen to get back into action. And it showed with an excellent win thanks to two goals from Toni Silva, and further efforts from Brad Smith, Michael Ngoo, Adam Morgan and Krisztian Adorjan.
Bolton had been top of the Group C table until last week and had only conceded seven goals in their opening 10 matches but Liverpool blew them away with an excellent attacking display.
Full-back Brad Smith scored the only goal of the first half before Liverpool ran riot after the break.
Soon after half-time Silva scored twice to put the visitors 3-0 ahead.
England youth international forward Ngoo made it 4-0.
Then further efforts from Morgan and Hungarian striker Adorjan completed the rout.
A delighted Liverpool coach Borrell said: “We bounced back after two bad results with a great team performance.
“We need to keep working hard to improve day-by-day and not become overconfident after this massive result.”
The victory over previous Group C leaders Bolton puts Liverpool in a positive frame of mind going into the Merseyside derby clash with current table-toppers Everton at the Kirkby Academy this Saturday.
Borrell’s side lie fifth in the table eight points behind their Merseyside neighbours having played a game less.
LIVERPOOL UNDER-18s: Belford, Smith, Coady, Adorjan, Aylmer (Sumner), Flanagan, Sterling (Walsh), Sama, Regan, Silva, Ngoo (Morgan).Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
