Ineptitude doesn't count, has to be something against our club or history.
Well he criticised the fans for demonstrating against the previous owners

Hes heavily criticised the former manager using King Kenny's name (falsely it appears) in order to do that which was totally out of order

Hes refused to defend his striker against his buddy Ferguson

Hes dummed down expectations by giving too much respect too opponents (see his Northampton comment for that)

Then hes been critical of various players for one reason or another

Just about the only person Roy hasnt blamed so far is himself who to me is our major problem

I dont hate him but I cant listen to the ****e he spouts I also detest the tactics and mentality hes instilling at the club

Its as I said earlier a dumming down of expectations and at times tactics have almost amounted to raising the white flag before we've even stepped on the pitch

The silent majority - flmao piss off will you

Look around the forums look at the votes regarding Hodgson

They are never below 75% support for removing him

My brother and dad go to every match home and away they reckon at least 80% of the support want Hodgson gone and whilst those fans would never call for his head from inside the ground it doesnt stop the constant bemoaning and calls for his head away from the game

Perhaps ask yourself why so many polls conducted across a multitude of LFC forums indicate that 90% of fans want Roy gone?

Maybe, most fans feel "insulted" by his nonsense? If not, then they are certainly "insulted" by his complete lack of tactical ability.

Fair or not, it's been pretty obvious on here the level of dislike towards him. And it's not just this forum either, the poll results from nearly every forum were in the 90% region in favour of getting rid of him. Fair or not, it is what it is.
          Is the correct answer

If it wasnt coming from you Reece I would have said "there speaks a voice of reason"

But he hasn't hurt my precious little feelings by telling our players they're sh*t. We conduct polls on this all the time. I don't want him to stay as a manager if better are available. But I certainly won't be disrespectful for these reasons alone. I wasn't brought up that way.
In my book you have to earn respect

Hodgson has done nothing on or off the pitch to do that

At times hes been downright disrespectful to our fans the club and its former manager and the "football" has been a ****ing insult

Just wanted to say I totally agree with Banditos.

I've always stuck by the managers in the past. Liverpool have never been ones to sack a manager after a few months, it's just not our way.

However, historically (i.e. the Liverpool way), we've employed from the bootroom, so they're steeped in tradition and are following the path that the previous have set (pass, move etc). That doesn't really exist anymore...not since Roy.

I think Hodgson was a bit of a panic appointment to steady the ship and get a media friendly manager. As several people have said, he's way out of his depth, and has a small team mentality, which has been compounded by his signings, and some awful tactical decisions.

If he was manging Fulham now and got these results, everyone would love him still. At Liverpool, it just won't do.

First time I've said it of a Liverpool manager.....get him out asap, so a new manager can suss out the team and make some decent signings in Jan.

And so.....I go back to Lurkerland .

We had a squad that finished 7th and was considered under performing in finishing in that position

Our current manager has had that squad mired in the bottom 3

Thats nothing to do with what hes inherited that is his contribution

Hes made terrible signings (Meireles excluded) and we are reaping the "benefits" of having a manager whose tactics are archaic, base and the most negative I've ever seen from a Liverpool manager

My big worry about giving Roy time is the damage that he will cuase for future managers

Part of that has now been mitigated with the arrival of Comolli at least Roy is not in charge of the purse strings otherwise I'd be ****ting myself going into January

But frankly I still dont want him at the club, the last thing we need is these tactics being ingrained in the very fabric of the club because that would be catastrophic
