What about the £30M scum payed for Veron?

I thought he was one of the worst signings they ever made.
Lets just get on with the job and see how it pans out at the end.

              ?

What inflation rate have they used?

              Zimbabwe?

It's an odd one because the transfers in the 2008-09 season have gone down in their CTPP. So I think that must have been what they consider to be the peak of the market.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  Worth the transfer alone IMO.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Cup final goal the year after as well. It was a beauty.

Warhurst was always a centre-back and was only pressed into action as a striker when Wednesday had Hirst and Bright both out injured. He happened to play like Marco van Basten for a bit, before gradually moving back down the field.
Think it was a sarcastic reference.

Can't argue with many of those choices.

Forgot about that. 19 goals that season in total, hardly one of our worst ever signings. More medals that Torres anyway.

Speedie? 6 goals in 12 games, including 2 goals against everton and 1 against united on his debut! Souness didnt like him but that doesnt make him a bad signing by Kenny... Seem to remember we got our money back too.
I like to lurk, if that's ok with you
