shame. IMO the loaning out of players to championship teams is the death knell for their careers with us. i cant remember the last time we loaned out a player and he came back stronger and burst into the first team.

hopefully this will be the making of him but sadly i think he will be gone come summer.

Personally think Pacheco will leave in the summer, and to be honest i wouldn't blame him - he's been waiting long enough for a chance, and not really got one even though a few times there have been great opportunities for him to do so.

Brad Jones joins Derby on loan, alongside Ayala.

So that's seven million quid's worth of Hodgson dross loaned out, in PFK and Jones.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

At least we've got a manager that realises just how poor they are!

Imagine Captain Smint was here - Pepe would probably be on the bench by now and PFK would be wearing the armband!

Seems like a decent bloke does Jones, and his girlfriend is well into her charity work, but he's never good enough for LFC, even as back-up.

Paul Lambert is a highly rated manager too - Celtic fans i know expect him to return to Parkhead one day, as a manager this time obviously.
              Thanks for the qualification.

I was wondering what he'd return as

I thought he looked good when he was younger. Obviously not followed him that much. It always seemed a bit odd to go for him when we had some decent young keepers at the club but at the time I did feel it was a fair enough move. As it has turned out it was a pretty rubbish decision all round.

Hope that his loan leads to a permanent move as I really feel that in future we have to be looking to develop the likes of reserve keepers in house.

Ayala and Pacheco moves seem good for all concerned.

Apparently we`ve sent Jones to Derby on loan, that`s the end of him.

That was his level when Hodge picked him up and that is still the level where he belongs.

                      What a waste of money

true, but if we take some positives from this, the club is going to right direction!

Paul Dalglish thinks it's a good idea.

Another bonus of Pacheco to Norwich is if they get promoted then he should be loaned back there till christmas, see how he gets on in the premier league playing regularly
