I think Henderson is excellent, he will be a very good player for us for a long time.

I thought he started off well and then faded, for me seems to that that alot in game, but IMO has improved recently. Lots of potential and room to improve.

I've been quite happy with Henderson for a while now. Downing's my bugbear. Utter ****e that lad is.

Henderson is clearly a top quality talent that will only get better the more games he plays for us. He'll start taking more responsibility over the coming years and become a fantasitc player IMO.

He made one unbelievable surging run (don't remember which half) a total lung buster.

He reminds me a lot of the young Steven Gerrard, without the all round ability. But he does more than dirty work, he has picked a few pretty sweet passes out as well.

It is only Downing and Carroll that are a worry to me from our signings last year. Downing looks out his depth, and Carroll's confidence looks shot, though the spin he did on the defender for his chance was nice, should have buried it though.

2nd half counter attack from a Reina throw, showed good pace but just lacked a bit of composure to pick out Bellamy who had dropped off his marker.

I'm slowly warming to Henderson, think he will prove a good buy in the end, tidy player with loads of room to improve.

I was happy from the beginning about Henderson. It's Adam and Downing that I really didn't want.

Was tracking Henderson a bit from last season as there was a lot of hype around him. He's a bit un-English type of player if there's a word like that

His best attribute is releasing the ball quickly and one touch layoffs. He has a good shot on him. He's just shy to pull all the fancy stuff we expect from center mids. He has them all. Just needs to get it out slowly.

He ran out of steam on that run to the point he wasn't able to look up and find his man. He just swiped it across the goal and hoped for the best. He was breathing heavily for about 5 minutes after that. We've all been there.

He was absolutely motoring though, it looked like his legs were struggling to carry him that fast at one point.

I like him, good attitude, and looks like he will give everything for the cause, not without ability either. A good signing who will get better and better.

i don't think he is a "young steven gerrard" as was mentioned above - he's a different type of player but i reckon he is coming on well....

i think he has a bit of a Scott Parker about him to be honest - a very good solid all-rounder.....and he could turn out to be a great signing.....
