You should have heard 5Live this morning. They only mentioned the John Terry/Anton Ferdinand incident but it was an incredible piece of ****e. Interviewing the QPR owner:
"If John Terry is found guilty, what do you think should happen?"
"Let's say he did it, what would you say then?"
"OK, so you don't want to comment on the John Terry case but if one of your players said what John Terry is alleged to have said..."
We'd have been livid if it had been about Evra and Suarez. The only possible reason they gave was that plenty of previous allegations about John Terry have been proved.
It was as bad as any tabloid newspaper. But then 5Live is a tabloid for radio. And Talksport is the Daily Star..
