Its what everyone outside the club want, us to accept the ban and keep quiet. This whole incident has really shaken any love i had for football and it will get worse as this ruling has set the tone for future incidents.

i know i shouldn't be that person but i hope Evra is broken up on the pitch, preferably at Anfield

      The
That's true. I trust the owners and management to make the right decision, if they go for it then we need to get behind them. This whole saga has been so draining, I can't imagine how Suarez and the people closest to him must feel.

The reason to why they want us to keep quiet and accept the ban is IMO that they are very afraid of what will happen if Suarez take it to court and win.

The whole kick it out campaign would be dead a long time. It would lose all credibility.

A lot of the media would risk being sued by the club and Suarez after calling him a racist.

They also IMO know that Suarez have a good chance to win the case if he take it to court.

It's a little bewildering to be honest as it's always been "you're innocent until proven guilty" seems that rather than the FA/Evra/Scum having to prove his guilt Luis has had to prove his innocence, almost impossible to do under the circumstances.

We'll get no joy with the FA at all and they'll go for the jugular if we push this, although this is the case I hope we do look to take this further though as it's not really about the 8 game ban but actually destroying a young man's reputation which will be almost impossible to repair for IMO the chance to score points over FIFA/UEFA and to ensure Fergie uses the lube with them the next time he fancies some action!

if its true that between them, dalglish and commolli's decisions have basically led to Suarez being deemed an unreliable witness and the poor lad has then been branded a racist, there's a massive, massive problem.

the t shirts thing was imho a sign that we'll pursue this in the way we feel is most advantageous to the club. I can only see that as being a personal case brought by LS. we can't appeal this decision to those assholes. its pointless.

Thats the thing in all this, a mans reputation has been tarnished and the serious business of getting racism out of the game has been watered down by this judgement.

Also....you just deep down know John Terry is going to get away with his punishment.

I'm annoyed about the kick it out campaign's response to this. I can see why they want a hard line on this but it should be more important to get the decision correct. IMO they should have stayed out of this incident until ithe disciplinary process (including any appeal) is over, instead of applying pressure to the decision making process.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's innocent until proven guilty in a court of law so yes I think he'll get off this - the whole affair ****ing stinks

I agree that it is not about the eight game ban anymore. It is as you say now about saving Suarez career.

If we do nothing then it would be almost impossible for Suarez to continue to play football at all. I think he would lose the love to do it and if he do that then he is finished.

He is just like a kid on the pitch that love to play football. He loves it so much that he get problems because of it sometimes. Take that love away and you would have ask yourself if he really will continue to play at all?

He may continue to play in Uruguay but not in Europe IMO.

He's a feisty character, i wouldnt be surprised if he wanted to stay and rebuild his reputation.

Also he probably knows that even if the FA relented that opposition fans will still boo and call him a racist, you cant win with something like this......it always sticks.

They'd get onto the next thing soon enough.

And booing would probably drive him on.

                                Tony Barrett on the Rattle

The FA employed a QC who's regarded as the best criminal lawyer in the country. Liverpool used a solicitor who specialises in sports and media law and who was once accused of advising Michael Duberry to give false evidence during the Bowyer/Woodgate case. Suarez was on a loser before the hearing even began.the same qc who was on the panel that ruled against us on Heinze. You couldn't make it up.

The biggest concern is why did Liverpool allow their most valuable asset to go into a hearing of such vital importance armed with a statement that wasn't fit for purpose? The minute they had to admit it had been 'badly drafted' because they needed to try desperately to justify a ridiculously claim they were making he became an unreliable witness. A bad defence is worse than no defence. This 'bad drafting' is the most stunning aspect of the entire evidence.
