Its probably been said before in this thread, but I think it was a genuine case of, Suarez saying something innocently, and Evra believing it to be something else and taking offence to it. No racist intent was there, but it was taken from it anyway.

I think there was a huge amount of malice on Suarez part towards Evra, but it had nothing to do with race, excuse the pun, he was trying to get under his Skin mostly pertaining to his size, he did, hugely, Evra did not like it one bit and seen an opportunity to **** Suarez over and he took it in a big way

This is a total stitch-up and we need to fight our corner. We haven't been as professional as we should have been thus far, this really needs to be sorted out. With the right people on board we should be able to destroy the weak arguments in the FA's verdict. I have no understanding of legal practice, but the document released by the FA is so full of holes that it simply has to be challenged. Despite the fact that everyone else seems to be eager to agree with the crap contained within the report, the discrepancies are obvious and we can easily dismiss the FA's limp reasoning.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah thats my worry. The FA will turtle up now and wont back down no matter what as it will be very very embarrassing for them.

Suarez has been sent up **** creek without a paddle, and their nothing he can do about it. I hope LFC take it as far as they can just to make the point that the FA needs to get its ducks in a row next time they try to make a name for themselves.

Basically that the way spanish language is used in Rio De la Plata in Uruguay, where Luis grew up, there is no way that he would have used "porque tu eres negro" phrase when talking to Evra, which should have destroyed Evra's credibility.

Basically it is Linguistic proof that Evra lied in his statement and it should be discredited especially as his statement was seen and used as more reliable in making their decision.
With respect, I don't give a tinkers **** what chavski do about JT and racism in this case. But still at least they had the wit not to have the team dressed up in tshirts with his face on them. And they'll probably have the player fully prepared to defend himself. Saying that the club appears to have handled this badly in no way goes against the increasingly clear likelihood that Evra has lied and the FA has completely ****ed Suarez over.

TBF Chelsea will have learned a lot from our handling of the situation.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

As already been said it is not only the FA that made mistakes.

We should for example done a better research on Mr McCormick to start with and when we would have discovered that he had done some work for the FA in the case against us then we shouldn't gone anywhere near him.

He shouldn't been appointed at all.

Look at the job he done? Not exactly brilliant to say the least. Even Jamie K have done a better job than him.

To start with you will have to ask if he will do his best for us because of the job he did for the FA against us. Mistake after mistake by him so far, big mistakes.

Why didn't he ask for more time after he got vital evidence very late from the FA?

Why didn't he do a better job checking up the three people on the panel? If he had done that then at least two of the three should never been there. Two of the three have close connection to Man U.

There is no way he should have allowed them to be there. He should have demanded that they must be replaced.

Two very very big mistakes. Why didn't he demand that Suarez must look at the pictures from the game when he gave his version of what happened?

                Another big mistake.

Why didn't he call up a few people from the area in Uruguay that Suarez lived in?

                Another big mistake.

Mr McCormick have acted like a f*cking clown. When even Jamie K do a better job then you know how bad job he done.

I didn't realise you were back Arn.

Lots of wild assumptions your making there. You don't know that he did or didn't do any of them. This wasn't a legal case, it was essentially a disciplinary.

He didn't ask for more time. It is in the document from the FA so that one is a fact.

Evra was allowed to look at the pictures so we could easily demanded that Suarez would have the same rights.

I don't know if we could have asked for witnesses from Uruguay but if we could and he didn't then it is such a big mistake that you almost want to kick his butt. Forget about the almost thing, you want to kick his butt.

One question MrM? Are we allowed to use the word black or do we need to use a * like the way I did?

                              Oh dear..

I'm worried black players will target Luis after FA ruling, says Suarez's mother

Luis Suarez's mother says she is worried about her son's safety after he was found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra.

                              Suarez given eight-game ban

Sandra Diaz insists her son is not racist, but says she is concerned he will be targeted by black players after the FA's ruling.

She said: "I confide in God who is the only judge we have. "These type of situations have occurred in many games and nothing's ever happened.

"The truth is that I laugh when they call my son racist. Nothing could be further from the truth."

Speaking to Uruguayan daily El Observador , she said: "We're all waiting to see what happens with the appeal.

"It's a shame because it had been a perfect year for Luis.

"I know my son. I know he has to calm down a bit with things like the salute he made to rival fans. But he's no racist.

"One thing is his conduct on the pitch and another is that they accuse him of being a racist. Nothing could be further from the truth.

"I'm worried now when I see him on the pitch. I know he's going to have to look after himself.

"I'm afraid now when he comes up a black person, especially because they're going to go looking for him.

"I'm very worried about his future. He has his whole future in front of him and there's a stain on his character.

"I hope this will strengthen his character and serve as a lesson."

Sandra claims his use of the word 'negro' was not intended as an insult.

"Luis was best friends with Pablo when they played for Nacional," she said.

"He was round our house all the time and we always used to call him 'Negro'. It's not an insult here."

She also says the Football Association have gone too far with the length of his ban.

"Liverpool improved and Luis had some very good games. He became very well-known.

"The FA went to town with him by banning him for eight matches."
