I love how SSN completely ignore that earlier paragraphs about the club not agreeing with the outcome and still supporting Suarez.

As long as we dont lose to Oldham, the above is correct. If we somehow get knocked out on Friday, then he'd miss the league game at home to Spurs too.Originally posted by Mostar View PostHe'll miss 4 PL games:
Cityh away
Stoke home
Bolton away
Wolves away
We should have strong enough squad to deal will all 4 games the only difficult would be the one tonight.

I feel it's an excellent and brave stand by the club.
It probably won't be reported fairly but that would have been the case, appeal or not.
And rival fans can say what they want - many of them will simply parrot any old tribalist crap..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Exactly. The statement is excellent. Firstly it completely undermines the FAs case and ridicules the report. But even though the FA are a complete bunch of morons and have set a dangerous precedent, we care about fighting racism so much that we will accept a ban we don't agree with.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYou dont do yourself any favours mate. Clearly both statements say, in a diplomatic way, "We dont condone racism, Luis isnt a racist, but the FA cunts have ****ed us already here and we know they cant wait to **** us over again with an appeal which wouldnt be handled fairly and which we clearly wont be allowed to win - so we wont be giving them the satisfaction"
And just to piss man utd off, we will start the ban against the team you want us to beat the most.

That won't work. The Premier League could throw us out.Originally posted by ashey View PostSaid it before, when it comes time to renegotiate the TV deals, refuse to participate in the collective process & negotiate our own. That isnt an option. If it was, we'd have already done it by now. Hence Ayre's comments about wanting an individual tv rights deal.Originally posted by ashey View PostSaid it before, when it comes time to renegotiate the TV deals, refuse to participate in the collective process & negotiate our own. "In America, where Liverpool ownership resides, there was a shameful bigotry that prevented black athletes from competing at the highest levels for decades."
Will there be a tribunal into the statement?
This has opened a huge can of worms. We need to stitch Bellamy's mouth up before he goes out to play.*************************

I doubt that. Ayre was the only senior figure from the old board who was kept on at the club and put in a significant position under Fenway. They were highly impressed with him and i dont see this affair changing that.Originally posted by Dantheman View PostI wonder if we will see a change at the top over this. Twice this season we've been isolated and made to look like cnuts on Mr Ayre's watch. Is he too aggressive for the role?
