Craig Bellamy = Aggressor. Simple equation that refs have drummed into them in ref school.
Bellers raising his hand (albeit after Dempsey was acting the prick) gave ref any justification he needed.

Can we appeal the Bellamy yellow? He should have been given a prize for not rising to the bait, not a ****ing yellow. Comical, comedy refereeing. Comical. Hope we watches the highlights because he should be embarrassed about some of those decisions...
Don't think yellows can be appealed anyway.....always been the excuse when clubs try to appeal reds consisting of two yellows.
    Open to correction anyone ?

People are focusing on the easy excuses to make themselves feel better. Fine.

At the end of the day this game (and many others for that matter), are lost/drawn because we are simply **** in front of goal. We don't have a single proper striker / poacher / finisher or what not. We created plenty of chances in the first half and untill Spearing got sent off to win the game had we had one good finisher in the team.

Yes the ref was ****, and I lamblasted him just after the game out of frustration, but we should still have one this game comfortably if you take out the callings he made.

We need to be more ruthless, we need our Van Persie, Hernandez, Aguero, Ba, or what else you have of strikers in the team above us that finish their chances.

I know I'm going to get shot down for this, but in all honesty I don't think Carroll was that bad yesterday. Did some good fighting with a big Fulham defense and was actually involved in quite a few 1-2's and laying it off to other players. The biggest problem IMO regarding Carroll yesterday is the fact that hardly anyone in the team serves him a decent ball in the area. Suarez and Bellamy are to focused on the ground game (and at times to selfish as well), and it's more a case of Carroll not fitting in with a team without wingers in it. Enrique was the only one I can recall actually putting in some crosses. And the most crosses we got in the area was in the last 10 min when Carroll was taken off.

Carroll just seems out of balance for most of the time and he has a hard time finding his strike-partners and while we might be training him to be a support type target man, it just looks more and more obvious to me that he isn't that type of player.

Well the fact is even with Spearing on the pitch supposedly holding, Dempsey found acres of space in front of our back four on frequent occasions

Jay has done well in previous games (last season) but he was a mile off the pace yesterday

I questioned that decision before the match and I still don't get the reasoning why the Carroll got the nod over Maxi especially as Maxi seems to be in form and after he said great things about him prior to Fulham game.
Not convinced that would have won the game but it might have helped

For me we were still too open and Maxi wouldnt have helped in that regard

Thought we were solid last night, Fulham are better than there record suggests and as has been pointed out holding both City and Arsenal suggest they have something about them.

I have to say considering we had Jay in the middle of the park, things were progressing nicely untill he got sent off. We were taking control of the game in the 2nd half.

But lets call a spade a spade, the referee or linesman time and time again intervened at key moments, you tell me any other game a player headbutts a player right in front of the ref and practically spits in his face and its not a red let alone a yellow.

Jay Spearing well he got the ball clear as day I am scratching my head on that one, I suppose by the letter of the law you could say he was not under control but it was extremely harsh.

We got nothing from these cunts from the first kick off, and they gave everything to the home side. Sometimes is rolls like that.

Based on yesterday I can understand why Fergie has clearly put his foot down and decided he doesnt want him refereeing

Better he sticks with what he knows

while i agree with that i think that we've digged our own grave. by the time jay was sent off we should've been 2-0 up with the game dead and buried.

henderson was unlucky with his effort that came off the post but that's the story of our season.
however, carroll on the other hand should have scored when louis set him up perfectly. then there's our decision making in key moments that's questionable, as well as the movement of our players inside the box.

we're as sound as anyone in defense, we create as much chances as anyone in attack. but as long as we don't take our chances we will never ever finish top 5.
