This is the sort of **** that annoys me. Wirtz runs after the ball while the rest of our players move forward at a leisurely walk. When he turns to see where the **** they all are after having noone to pass to he sees them all standing in a line behind him. Now look at the end of the clip. They're all gathered in alittle huddle. The other team can pretty much go wherever they want as they always seem to do. What sort of braindead crap is that. And they do similar stuff all the time.

For some reason it was set private because thats the first thing you want enabled on a video sharing site. Should work now.

I mentioned that in the match thread, no joined up pressing, too many lazy bedwetters.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

That is a big issue, if you don't press as a team then there's no point in anyone pressing, one player on his own just gets knackered and toyed with by the opposition.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Remember when we used to win possession and we’d instantly have 4 or 5 players motoring up the pitch, having defending teams scrambling to track our runners. The red arrows

We couldn’t be any further from that incarnation of the team right now

Seems appropriate that we change the title of this thread to “Our Style of Play - Crab Football”.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Ekitike and wirtz as a front two?
A 442 will still give us two wider players to play as winger when attacking, but will also give us a bit more resilience in the middle of the pitch.

They've definitely formed an understanding. Would love to see Wirtz behind both Isak and Ekitike. If they can start linking, they could be a deadly little trio.

Spending that much money on two attack based players then it makes sense to get them together and closer to the goal.
Wirtz gets out bullied playing from deep midfield, so by the time he gets near the goal hes knackered.
