I didn't upload it to youtube (it was only uploaded yesterday) and it hasn't been removed. If the mods feel that it should be removed then fair enough. The first part is very difficult to watch, but the second half is really interesting - the stuff about the cover-up. I wonder if the film makers will update the documentary to reflect recent events?

No, it's not, it could effect the criminal proceedings and is the very reason this thread was moved to an unindexed section.

The threads been moved back to an indexed section so would suggest removing

It is a damn good watch though. Ridiculously hard watch, but worth it.

I guess now that the inquest has been concluded it's okay to view this documentary in the UK.

Maybe it's because I got rid of any element on social media that might mock it plus I haven't looked for any opposing views either.
There is a definite age discrepancy between those that are supporting and understanding v those that a re tossers, at least from what I have seen.

Younger people seem to be acting up and making ****ty comments - 'lad' and 'banter' type internet activity. The ones that probably regard Dapper Laughs as a modern day legend.

The older fans know it could just as easily have been them.

In the wake of Heysel, 14 Liverpool fans were convicted of involuntary manslaughter after a long trial in Belgium.

Seven were given three year prison terms and the other seven suspended three-year sentences.

After an arduous five months in court a further 10 Reds supporters were found not guilty, two Belgian officials were found guilty of criminal negligence while UEFA was cleared – much to the anger of the grieving families.

I posted this in the Dalglish thread but am also going to post it here

“One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.

“For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

“After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.

“This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way.

“But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”

“He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you.”

“In other words, you will never walk alone.”

These were the words of Kenny Dalglish yesterday at the Hillsborough vigil and to me they highlight exactly his contribution to the club & the families and the city. I think his role during the Hillsborough aftermath is his greatest achievement and perhaps the greatest achievement of any football manager in England. Yeah there have been people who have won more trophies than him but you have to remember at the age of 38 he carried the club with the utmost dignity & integrity through the clubs & city's darkest days. He attended funerals, counselled and comforted bereaved families, visited the sick in hospital he was totally selfless. He put himself, the club and the players at the disposal of the families

I dont think one man has ever gave so much in football and in his own words

"I wouldnt change anything that I did, and I just wish I could have done more"

For me he will always be a hero not for his great play on the pitch or the countless trophies he won as a player and a manager, it was for his leadership during the Hillsborough aftermath
