These interviews on BBC news are horrific.

An incredible day of mixed emotions, very happy that finally justice will be meted out to those who caused such incredible suffering over the past 27 years. This tragedy was easily averted, it could and should have been prevented. The pain will no doubt go on, but the families can now begin to grieve properly. The families are an inspiration to us all, never ever give up.

The tears have been flowing today. Just arrived at Anfield to pay my respects. Loads to flowers and tributes. Words can't describe it.

Me too, I can't imagine how the families must feel.

I don't really have anything to add. The whole thing still makes me feel sick tbh, demonising a city basically. But then the Tories do it to whole Professsions too so it's par for the course. It's taken a whole generation to get the truth out there though, it's sickening.

I've just been reading through the Sheffield City submission of archive material with regard to the stadium design and work done over the years leading up to 1989.

If you are looking for an insight into how so much time and effort can be spent to get something horribly wrong its interesting.

Everyone should listen to this. I'm no fan of the station but fair play.

the dirty business of conspiracy wont come out [if ever] until these other people are taken to task. proving a conspiracy will be almost impossible though. no doubt there are connections within these groups. like i said, my money would be on some sort of masonic old boys network covering each others arse.

The offences under investigation by the IPCC are: conspiracy to pervert the course of justice; perverting the course of justice; perjury; and misconduct in public office.
