That's all well and good, but it's Sturridge. Whilst it's difficult to imagine an area of the body Sturridge hasn't injured, he has suffered hip and thigh injuries on a number of occasions (14 to be exact) previously and has history of this injury all the way back to 2007.

Yes, he's only going to miss a small number of games (fingers crossed) but it all feels very familiar.
