I'd probably take the money if its decent.

He should have grown out of his inconsistency by now. I don't think he will.

World class and ridiculously exciting on his day, you just can't predict what day it is.

I think PSG are just about in the bracket of "you can't really blame him if he wants to go there".

Because we were going to end up with 3 strikers on the pitch and coutinho was the more likely to play a through ball or cross to one of them.

So that was Coutinho's 4th season here.

In his first six months, he instantly showed what a word class talent he is and him and Sturridge signing were the catalyst for an excellent finish to the season.

13/14: Didn't kick on how many hoped he would and although not as influential as Sturridge/Suarez, still played a big role in our 2nd place finish and had some excellent performances in midfield.

14/15: Slow start to the season, but finished well, finally adding some much needed goals to his game and finishing as fans and players POTY.

15/16: Once again picked up both awards for fans and players' POTY, improved further on his scoring rate and improved his defensive work under Klopp.

If we do decide to cash in on him, I really hope his replacement is as inconsistent as he is.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yep, inconsistent seems to be the buzz word at the moment but I'd love to see some suggestions on firstly who these apparently insanely consistent attacking midfielders are and secondly what ones of those we could get.

PSG need to be told to **** off and if he gets upset for a few weeks over it then tough ****, I dont think he's the type to sulk so he'd get over it.

Would be utter madness to even consider selling him IMO. Hope the club plays hardball if anyone comes in for him. It would be nice to get through a summer without selling one of our best players.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

This. While he's inconsistent at times, he's one of a few match-winners we have in the entire squad so far. We need more of his ilk, not cashing in on the limited ones we have.

No brainer to tell PSG to do one, even north of Sterling money.

Let's not also forget how he handled contract negotiations last year when he could have f*cked us over (same time as Sterling) and he even came out recently saying he wants to stay despite no CL football.

Legend on the pitch and off it and people expect us to get someone better in despite having no European football next year, less finances than our rivals and a geographical handicap.

Ahh well, worked well with Suarez and Sterling I suppose...

I find him slightly infuriating but there's no way I want us to even consider selling him.

He cleaned up in our player of the season awards too.

He'd walk into any squad in the league and probably most first elevens too, so he's a keeper(!)

Shouldn't he be putting Midge under pressure then, no wonder he is inconsistent in midfield.
