I think that's it for me as well, we started off from a far weaker position than the other 5teams and to catch any of them this season would be a big ask. Everton is most certainly our main target for me now this season, getting past them into 6th should be our immediate goal.

Agree about the form recently, we're scoring goals for fun now and have been keeping clean sheets as well which is encouraging to see.

I've really enjoyed watching us of late and it's been a few years since I've really enjoyed our football.

I say lets get as many points as we can and see where it takes us. We don't have a guaranteed European spot unlike last year after winning the cup, so giving up is not an option.

Teams above us will slip up, then it's down to us. Short term, lets get sixth place and then look upwards and see what's possible. One game and one place at a time.

I'd hate to see teams collapse and us fail to take advantage. It's in their hands and if they don't slip up, then fair play.

Long term, a strong finish will send out a positive message to future recruits that we are on the way up.
          Forwards.......

thats all we can do really, maybe being out of Europe with no guarantee unless we get 5th for instance will drive players on to get there.

if we aim to get if to a flier and win every game early doors, we can take one game at a time, because its a game of two halfs and essentially a funny old game. So long as we give 110% ill be over the moon with that, and with the amount of top top players we should avoid being as sick as a parrot. At the end of the day as long as we put on a good advert for the game we shouldn't be there to make up the numbers because the table doesn't lie

Throwing 6 points away against Citeh twice and Arsenal recently, plus the disallowed goal against Everton. So frustrating, but the positives to take are that we are playing well and we got ourselves into a position to cock it up - much better than rolling over and never looking like getting anything.

Edit: in fact, Arsenal and Everton alone would have been enough to see us 5th now! Ahead of Arsenal on GD or GS depening on whether we won by 2 or 1.

Season ain't over for me yet. 4h is too far sure but finishing above Arsenal and Everton, which is extremely possible, in Rodgers' first season would be like a CL finish.

                            Make it so, Brendan.

I'd like to see us win again Spurs. That for me *will* send a strong message. We also play Chelsea and Everton and if we can get positive results against these then we can start really building for next season's top 4 assault!

Well, we'd all like to see that.

Whether it happens or not is a different story.
                                Oh I don't know.
