Close us down and we crumble a lot of the time, sit off us and we'll steam roll you.
LFC are just too inconsistent. To play a fast tempo, short passing style the players need to turn up every week. Too many times this season I've seen our players forget how to pass a ball straight over five yards or looking incapable of trapping a bag of cement.

When teams sit off us, it allows us to slowly build up a rhythm and we have proven many times over this season, especially since the introduction of Coutinho & Sturridge, that once in the groove we have no problem opening up a defence.

Personally, I knew it was a given Soton would press us high as that's how Pochettino plays it. Because of that I'd have gone for the three in midfield to give us an extra passing option, and I can only presume that Lucas wasn't enough fit too start?

Having seen our starting line ups over the past weeks, I think we are capable of starting 433 to get a foothold in the game before switching to a 4231/442 to properly kill teams if they sit deep.

I would imagine we will play Carra but in the long run we would benefit by either Skrtel or Coates stepping up in one of these games where we have a pivotal (and physical) striker to contend with.
I think Skrtel and Coates really ****ed themselves over when they got bullied and out played by the young Oldham striker Matt Smith.

Drug taking is a sackable offence so just as long as any other manager.

Well, I think that we wouldn't have had the big problems in the air in defense if Coates had played together with Agger from the start of the season but the big problem is that we now play a system that don't suit our central defenders.

We should have played less attacking football and more balanced football.

We have started to score more goals now when we play more counter attacking football and more 4-2-3-1.

That suits the team and show that Rodgers is prepared to admit that he got it wrong and isn't to stubborn to play on and on with the same system when we don't have the players to do it.

That is IMO the reason that he should get at least one more season. Kenny played on and on and continued to play players out of position whatever the result. He was to stubborn and got sacked.

I can see Weimann playing a blinder and scoring in this - seeing as we're being linked to him in the summer...

..then watch us buy him and he turns out to be like Michael Thomas...

Kenny wasn't sacked although the media would have you believe it. He said all along that if he became a burden or it didn't work out he would step aside which is what he did.

Coates didn't start the season with Agger because he has shown nothing to warrant a starting place ahead of Skittle or Carra.

How has Rogers got it wrong and changed?? Like all Managers he picks players/formation to counter the opposition so he always changes. He does like all managers get it wrong, but more and more he is getting it right.

Arn, there is no chance he will be sacked in summer, go bet your house on it, he has shown progress.

Kenny was sacked. He got a lot of money because he was sacked. The accounts is proof enough. If he would have walked then he wouldn't got any compensation at all.

Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre insists they had to sack Kenny Dalglish because results did not match up to longer-term expectations.

The Scot won the Carling Cup, the club's first trophy for six years, and reached the FA Cup final but an eighth-placed league finish resulted in Fenway Sports Group dismissing him after 16 months in charge.

Ayre said no matter how much work had been done off the pitch in terms of the structure and business of the club if results did not match up then change was inevitable.

"The most important element which isn't quite there is the football," said the managing director, who admitted they had already had numerous expressions of interest in the vacant manager's position but stressed their search had not yet properly begun.

"If you don't believe the results are right and feel 37 points off the champions and 17 points off Champions League pace is a long distance you have to make a change.

"You believe you have to improve that part because without it things begin to fall away.

"We have to get the football right. Should Kenny have been given longer? People will always have a different view.

"We had to make a decision as a board and we have to stand by it and move forward.
