At the end of the day, we're all angry that he missed, but IF we miss out on a CL place its our own doing. The season is played over 38 games

In all honesty, I don't think anyone would of squared it to anyone else there. You'd have just put it away. Freak miss, shame, onto the next one!

I think he's a disgrace, and nothing to do with that miss. Didn't have a positive contribution from start to end. Waste of oxygen.

Allen had a good game besides the miss, as usual people letting their prejudged opinion get in the way.

Fairly sure Suarez was infront of Allen so it would have been played behind him or it would have been offside. Just a **** shot.

Also - it has to be said the pre-injury Lucas was out there today, was like a jack russell.

Hopefully he can maintain that form.

I'd like it if anyone who will watch the replay of the game, point at one good thing Joe Allen had done in this match.

Allen was very tidy in midfield, that's what we needed. I thought Rodgers' substitutions allowed Everton to gain control of the midfield. We sacrificed midfield dominance needlessly. I'm not complaining, it was a fair result.

Allen and Henderson were totally ineffective. Lucas was excellent. Brendan made a mistake not playing our beast Sakho. He should come in now for Agger who was also poor. Conceding 3 goals very worrying. Could have been more but for Mignolet but they cut through us like butter at times.

Can whinge all we like about he non red card the fact is Allen should have finished them off. Awful miss and as far as I can remember it was his only ruddy contribution to the game.

Johnson was dreadful, Gerrard was very very poor. Couthino didn't have as much of the play as we would hope for a creative player but he did get a goal so not too bad.

Allen & Henderson were terribly ineffective & Gerrard & Johnson were just plain awful. They caught us on the break so many times.

Thought Suarez,Mignolet,Lucas & Flanagan had good games. Take a point, Allen's miss was crucial.

They won't give us half as much of a test as Everton gave us. 7/9 at the very least from those three.
