I think he deserves his chance with the injuries we have currently, he is still quite young so he is going to have bad games he won't have that consistently yet. The same as Carragher when he was breaking into the team.

Even though I am a foreigner I still think its important to have local lads in the team who have come up through the ranks. So I think Liverpool supporters should be fully behind him and give him that extra bit of support.

My point is if Carragher hadn't been given a chance and backed even when he had bad games he would never have become the legend (IMO) that he was for Liverpool.

I think he even said it in his book (or maybe in an interview in the last few years) that he feels if he was only breaking into the Liverpool team now he wouldn't make it as these days young players are not given as much time.

Have you seen the flak players get even on here for having a bad game

Carra took his opportunity even playing out of position

Rodgers gives the younguns the chance IF they are good enough, he is giving Flanagan a chance at the moment due to circumstance if he keeps performing then fair play but no point keep playing him if he doesn't perform just because of where he was born

We were bloody awful, couldn't keep the ball, just lucky for us they couldn't defend those 3 set pieces.

                Flanagan played well.

                Roll on the next game.

I thought at times we played some great short passes and showed composure on the ball. Defensively we were all over the place, but before Rodgers' substitutions our midfield looked very comfortable.

A win today would have been massive, particularly given their recent record at home. We could have had the win, but blew it again with shaky set piece defending. If we sort this problem out before the tough fixtures start in a few games we have decent grounds for optimism. I would have been happy with a draw before the game.

Not sure why Rodgers was happy to let Everton to dominate for 20 minutes after we scored. It seemed only a matter of time. Similarly at arsenal is earlier this season. Worry about his tacticalskills in game. Good point in the end but feel deflated as per our Newcastle result. Worryvhowbour midfield are going to cope in December.

The amount of goals we concede from set pieces is shocking, Brendan needs to address this sharpish. We can score goals, unfortunately, we're letting 'em in as well.

Would have taken a draw before kick off. Even more greatful for it.

Everton should have and would have buried us if it hadn't been for The Mig
Just on that point, I agree in part but with a decent Ref & a decent finisher instead of Joe Allen & the game could have been very very different too.

oh, and there were far too many soft free kicks given against us today but the twit in black.

Lucas trade mark of just running into the back of a player drives me nuts. I hope M'vila signs as he would absolutely sort our midfield out Imo.
