Agreed. Without the mistake they don't score. When they scored we had to change our approach and that allowed them to score again. Nothing wrong with our general approach to the game, we wanted to win playing positive football and they capitalised on our mistake.

Its shame I said weeks ago we need to adapt for this game, how couldn't they see it

Almost too arrogant, and in hindsight playing for a draw to bring them out a bit then smash them in behind in the second half was the way to go.

****ing gutted, im still in shock tbh cant believe it.

Either way its been an amazing season. Though as mentioned before, I'd like to see the back of Johnson and aspas and swiftly.
That's Spurs supporters for you. Must be tough being the third best team in London.

WTF. We had a great season. Winning the league would have been the greatest season. And it's still not set in stone.

Today's result may well have cost the league but we have been taught a valuable lesson about how to tailor our approach taking into account certain opponents and competition situations.
We should have employed the same tactics as them, it would have confused the **** out of them
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I feel uncomfortable even calling it a mistake. His mis control was a mistake but it was the slip that was fatal, anybody can slip.

Yep, we would have got the draw we needed if it wasnt for a mistake that'll happen once every 3 years or something, just a ****ty error at the worst possible time, our approach was fine.

The lack of control cost us, if he controls the ball that goal doesnt happen

Clearly not considering the level he was at when he came in.

It was the correct starting line-up, but we could get through the concrete wall put up

He took his eyes for a second and misjudged the weight on it. It was a mistake but one you won't berate someone of his calibre for.

It feels like the ****ing world just collapsed because of what we've put in all season, the emotion and the swagger we've played with all season. But we'll get there. If not this season but soon. Stevie will hold the trophy aloft one day.
                            Are we winning?

Crosses into the box 5vs 1 ain't going to work alas. Yes, a season better than expected and, compared to the start of the season expectations, it is a "success". But, with a couple of weeks to go, we're not comparing like with like surely? Wake up FFs.

                                Total nightmare that game was.

Turned it off as soon as the second goal went in and went out to clean my car and try and clear my head.

Was driving before and nearly started crying I feel that low, devastated for Stevie too. Can't help but feel we've ****ed it up.

I think we will mess it up at Palace, I do hope City lose points at Everton but it's not looking good.
