That's Spurs supporters for you. Must be tough being the third best team in London.Originally posted by vlahka View PostHad a friend hassling me thoroughly since the end of the match despite me having boasted nothing all season, him also being a tottenham fan. If we somehow manage to win the season hes not only going to get an earful from me, I'm going to pitch a tent outside his bedroom window and sing liverpool songs into the night to keep him up for the next month.
Either way its been an amazing season. Though as mentioned before, I'd like to see the back of Johnson and aspas and swiftly.Cult Member. Nazi puncher.

We should have employed the same tactics as them, it would have confused the **** out of themOriginally posted by Needles View PostIn hindsight we actually approached the game all wrong. We took the game to Chelsea when really we should have sat back and played for the 0-0. A draw was all we needed.
Today's result may well have cost the league but we have been taught a valuable lesson about how to tailor our approach taking into account certain opponents and competition situations.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yep, we would have got the draw we needed if it wasnt for a mistake that'll happen once every 3 years or something, just a ****ty error at the worst possible time, our approach was fine.Originally posted by cream View PostOur approach wasn't wrong, it was bad mistake that gifted them the goal, we then had to go for it.

He took his eyes for a second and misjudged the weight on it. It was a mistake but one you won't berate someone of his calibre for.
It feels like the ****ing world just collapsed because of what we've put in all season, the emotion and the swagger we've played with all season. But we'll get there. If not this season but soon. Stevie will hold the trophy aloft one day.Are we winning?

Crosses into the box 5vs 1 ain't going to work alas. Yes, a season better than expected and, compared to the start of the season expectations, it is a "success". But, with a couple of weeks to go, we're not comparing like with like surely? Total nightmare that game was.
Turned it off as soon as the second goal went in and went out to clean my car and try and clear my head.
Was driving before and nearly started crying I feel that low, devastated for Stevie too. Can't help but feel we've ****ed it up.
I think we will mess it up at Palace, I do hope City lose points at Everton but it's not looking good.
Gutted.
