Started watching about five minutes ago they've been on the front foot!

Derby games have to played at derby pace - one touch maybe two certainly not three.

Kelleher saves well from Lavery - Everton should have been 2 up. Lost the ball in midfield again.

They've had a better spell in the last few minutes - first 25 we were dire.

Dhanda has his shot blocked after a bit of panic in the Everton defence.

The u18s are certainly weaker this season with the exodus of players like Woodburn, TAA, Ejaria, Lennon, Gomez to the U23 and indeed at times senior squad

**** me est1892 seems to be on stand-by power this morning

            Stream keeps pausing

            I see Gomez is playing...

Dhanda to Brewster who shoots wide inside the box. Better play there but Brewster doesn't have his shooting boots on.

We are looking better finally but still 0-1. I like the look of Camacho, Dhanda & Gomes.

Good lord, Brewster nearly scores a cracking goal, reaching back to flick it from behind only for the keeper to palm it around the post. Everton's defence looking a bit stressed. That's more like it.

Parker looks quite good at centre back. It helps that he's a good foot taller than everyone else on the pitch.

                      Half time. Liverpool 0-1 Everton.

Started badly but came back into it a bit. Brewster has had the best chances so far but no goals from us yet.

GOAL for us! Dhanda tucks it home after good work from Brewster, Gomes strikes and Dhanda gets the rebound. Good work. 1-1.

More pressure from Liverpool now, things are starting to click. Corner to Liverpool comes to naught.

Our Hunter goes down under a snide challenge from Kiersey who gets the yellow card. Bit of bite appearing now. Another yellow for Lavery - Everton's discipline is fraying.
