I don't think he'll be good enough but should get a chance to save his LFC career with the number of games coming up. If Klopp can get our defensive organisation right then Lovren may well improve.

Still he's very much behind Sakho in the pecking order as it stands.

I wish they all would do that

If he doesn't FEEL ready he shouldn't be at the club. What we need is to SEE that he's ready. He hasn't done great but everyone gets a clean slate under Klopp if they have the right attitude.

So far under Klopp he hasn't competed in the most testing conditions but the games he's played in he's done nothing wrong. The acid test is this weekend. It would be nice to be able to rely on Dejan knowing he can come in and do a job from reserve, even if he doesn't reach the heights of being that regular starter we need.

It's a shame Bony got injured as playing against him probably would have suited him better. Aguero, Sterling or DeBruyne will keep the ball on the deck more, run at him and pull him out of position, so it will be a big test for him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

No mention for his performance? In the air he won everything. He does cause panic with the ball at his feet as he likes to go back too quickly or gives it to someone under pressure. But overall I thought he was bloody good.

He was strong & dominant and did a good job. He's not as good as Sakho and probably never will be, but I'm not now thinking we need to flog him asap. Football is a squad game these days and so far under Klopp he's looked a good squad player.

If I could get our money back on him of course I'd sell him, but we'd get nowhere near that so for me he's worth keeping if he can put in similar displays whilst Sakho is out.

No doubt that he'll improve under Klopp. People were quick to praise him after his start to this season before he reminded us what he really is. If he gets his **** together over a sustained period maybe he'll be the one to replace Skrtel.

Solid performance, hopefully it will do his confidence some good as he's in the team for a few weeks at least now. The kicking the ball onto his own hand was typical Lovren but overall he had a good game, I liked how he didn't take chances and at one point rolled it out for a throw instead of risking a back pass.

Agreed. I was delighted he put it into touch. He should've done that from the start, but if he stays on that track now I think we will all be pleasantly surprised by his development.
