Seriously just put your ****ing foot through it .... I know his problem ... he is so ****ing dense ... light bends around him ....

I mean step overs ... running towards your own ****ing goal on a byline .... if someone did that on ****ing Fifa I would want to hit them with a frying pan let alone a Premiership Football Game

Is he really as bad as he's been for us, or does every mistake he makes seem to get punished by a goal against ?

Seems that way, if Lovren ****s up we concede from that **** up, seems similar to Skrtle tbh, he rarely gets away with an error without it being terminal for our goal.

No he's really just that bad. But yeah I do agree that his mistakes do seemed to really get punished & that's probably because of the areas they are in.

Sometimes i think his reading of the game is good, gets in the right positions etc, but then ****s up the defensive challenge or an easy header at goal that he did well to get on the end of.

He obviously knows about how fans feel about him, and he'll obviously know he needs to do better, thing is all that means is that he walks out on the pitch every game with a massive amount of added pressure ticking over in his mind.

The guy is beyond ****e and what's worse is he thinks he's Beckenbauer. The fact that an 18 year old rookie playing out of position has had to be baby sitting him up to know is an absolute joke.

Not every mistake he makes gets punished, he has made a few in the opening 3 games but he got away with them. He has this tendency to get dragged under the ball when crosses or deadballs are put in - think Bournemouth's disallowed goal. He did the same thing yesterday when Reid headed wide, he's done it on a number of occasions, it's becoming as frequent a sight when defending set piece as Skrtel holding someone's shirt.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Should've been well coached out of him by now that, or spotted while he was at Shmpton, it's a big flaw for a defender, and one opposing teams can almost plan for if it's inherent in his game.

What I see most about Lovren. Was evident on the 2nd and 3rd goal. He rushes out into areas that he should not be in & leaves his position open & huge spaces in behind him. It happened so many times last season. I remember when he signed people where saying he's a front foot defender and a leader, he not he's just absolutely headless. Last season I lost count of how many times he charged out of position either into wide areas or into deep midfield areas and he either lost the ball, got beat in the air, got bypassed or gave away a foul. He was directly at fault for so many goals last season.

So we have him & then we have Skrtel (Who i like) who tends you drop that bit deeper when he should be more on the front foot. Personally I think anyone who plays with Lovren is in serious trouble.

Does anyone think he will be dropped for the Man Utd game? I think Rodgers will see it as one mistake and will stick with the same back four (assuming no-one gets injured on international duty). I see myself sitting down to watch the game and going absolutely crazy shouting and swearing at the TV/computer/world when I see the team news saying that he his playing again.

Yeah not a chance he will be dropped.

I'd like both of the CBs to be jettisoned but neither will sadly.

Lovren had an ok start this season but yesterday was unforgivable and Skrtel also had a bit of a shocker yesterday.

Unlikely either will go but if there is a chance for one to be ditched it'd be best off being Lovren.
